2015 mustang gt ford racing sport catback

Just got the exhaust a couple of days ago. Really like the sound and I can really feel the extra around 30hp they are claiming. The above 50 pull it a good bit harder and after 100 really hard. I weighed both the stock catback was 82pounds and the new is 51 so 31 pounds of weight gone. I'll try to get a Video of the sound up tomorrow.

Wow the new 2015 Mustang GT must really got it going on. You get 30hp out of the FRPP catback?!? That's forking amazing.

Other exhausts get only a paltry 2-5HP. Jeezus... Damn... Holy ****nitz... Hot damn...

Hey Layton I have an ocean front property in Arizona. It's got a great view of the ocean and access to white sandy beaches. I need to sell it quickly even for a loss and if you're willing to buy that I'll throw in the Golden Gate in for free.

Also. I'll post it when I do the dyno then I won't get back on here yhall are all haters and idiots on here. You can look it up yourself there are dyno's giving 15 hp to the rear wheels so that's about 25-30 hp to the crank

Did you do a pre-exhaust dyno run?

And when I say 30 I mean to the crank. I know for a fact it gives 18hp to the rwhp.

Now this time do a pre-exhaust run and then install and run it that same day on the same dyno. Only way to get a true accurate difference reading.

Same car even on the same day can have up to like 5-10whp differences depending on the heat soak of the engine. So companies can take the hot run of the engine that shows 387whp and install an exhaust and run the engine cold and get 398whp. Then they can claim an 11whp gain.

Hell if a hot engine pulls a full 10whp less than a cold engine and runs 382whp then runs an exhaust on a cold engine and gets 4whp then on your car it will show 396whp. That's a 14whp gain. But is it truthful?

Thing is don't believe the manufacturers lol. But if you really want to believe them then I'm sure they can sell you a Dilithium Crystal Warp Drive for your 2015 also.

And FYI a 30 crank hp at 15% parasitic loss is 25.5whp gain. That's a shiitload of whp from exhaust alone. This would have meant that the stock exhaust was like a pea shooter sized exhaust.

And it has a huge resonator box on the stock exhaust. That made it so quiet and restricted you could barely hear the stock exhaust, Not hard to believe the excuse me 22 hp crank 18 rwhp from the catback with zero resonator with less restriction in mufflers. And I'll run the motor same temp and everything on the same dyno in a week or two and post it

Is this the start to the "what exhaust should I get on my 2015 mustang?" threads. I thought it would be at least another month. But hey not only do we get to read "what will give me the best sound?" but also "what cat back exhaust will give me the most hp?"

I don't always reply but when I do, it's helpful

I believe... going from a restrictive to free flowing catback could give you 20+ hp.

Its only <5% increase. I've seen other cars with restrictive exhaust systems gain about 20+ hp. Always nice when you lose some weight too!

And we're not talking about a 200 hp engine where +20hp would be a 10% increase.

Any updates on the exhaust giving 18-25whp on a dyno run?

Agreed, because the 15 Mustangs will sound SO much different than everything else for the last 4 years. Whatever.

Yeah man dontcha know it? 30hp for just a catback exhaust mod. Still waiting for Layton to get back with his dyno proof. But it's been way past the time he said he would get the dyno proof so I figure he dynoed the car and gained like 3whp instead of 30.

Yeah, and the 3 hp gain was negligible, you can do that with no mods just between runs

**** bro I think if u farted into the intake during a run it'll add 3hp lol

Hell eat some refried beans and those beans might actually breakdown into some nitrous for a small small small shot lol

Well, I'm typically the equivalent of a single stage 300 shot when beans are processed

That's nothing bro. Add some *** Blaster hot sauce to the beans and it'll catapult you down the quarter in 9s flat. Of course your car would be in pieces at the finish line but hey that's probably the cheapest mod you can do to hit 9s lol
