2015 gt brake problems

Bought my 2015 gt back in November and have put about 800 miles on it. Will be taking it back next week for the second time for a brake issue. The first time they cleaned the rotors, pads, and calipers thinking they had a rock wedged somewhere creating the noise. After getting home the problem started again and now it sounds like metal grinding on metal. The brakes are actually getting rings on them and are getting hot to touch. Also has created a problem to use the push start as well. Supposedly ford will be replacing all my brakes because I am the first issue they have.

You are not the first issue with the brakes on a 2015 Mustang by far. Search some of the other Mustang forums, pretty much every forum has a few people complaining of squealing or grinding sounds from the front brakes, and Ford is trying anything from different pads, new rotors, to new calipers.

Sounds like Ford has a quality problem with the pads or calipers on the new 14" (inch) GT brakes. On the flip side, to date I've not seen any complaints regarding the base EcoBoost brakes or the GT Performance Package 15" Brembo brakes.

Aren't first year production cars fun...

They are supposedly installing upgraded or revised pads, and then replacing rotors as needed depending on the wear from the old pads.

Supposedly there are complaints piling up on some Mustang S550 Facebook pages too.
