Question exhaust help 15 gt

So just picked up my 2015 gt today and am already looking for some minor mods. As for now just going to slap on exhaust, tune and cold air. my question is for you 2015 owners what is the most obnoxious exhaust you have found? my 2010 was almost unbearable. I ran a custom exhaust with slp loud mouths no cats and a x pipe. looking for something close but without changing mid pipe. any idea is appreciated.

It is going to be hard to find info on this as there aren't many 2015 owners here. I would get a cutback system none the less though

I'm thinking about ford racing by borla sport catback. But it is too expensive, may be a roush axle back?

A couple of the guys at my shop just hooked up roush axle-backs to theirs and it sounds mean. Axleback because of CA emissions. I rode in it and you can def hear the drone but I think that is what they were looking for anyway. I'd say go for Roush just from hearing in person and not being impressed by what flowmaster has put out for sound clips on their american thunders(super 44). If I just purchased a 15 and hd an extra K laying around I'd go for the Borla FRPP though just because of the ford racing emblems embossed on the tips.

yeah I am in south daktoa so emissions are no big deal. thinking I might just pick up some slp loudmouths again and x-pipe and just do a custom exhaust.

Hey Dakota,

Congratulations on picking up your S550, these are great cars indeed!

If you re looking for a reasonably priced exhaust that sounds great and is plenty loud, look no further then the Flowmaster Outlaw Series Axle-Back Exhaust.

They definitely take the cake when it comes to a deep, throaty and loud exhaust. The only down side to them is they do have a slight drone to them but from what I am reading, it does not seem like that will both you!

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions!

Hey Will,
I am currently looking for a Cat-back Exhaust system for my 15' Mustang also! in your opinion which is the loudest cat-back exhaust system you guys have to offer? i was looking at the FRPP Sport Exhaust but wanted something deeper sounding but wasnt sure if the other exhaust would be loud enough for my taste! thanks!

I am a huge fan of the Roush Axle Back with Lethal Performance H-Pipe... It is a beast with the Bama X4. It is a really clean install and the Roush exhaust uses a chrome bonding that prevents discoloring of the chrome tips. There is a bit of a drone while cruising, but it is 5.0...it's meant to let people know you are coming.

Hey Mats,

I think a congratulations are in order for you also, how long have you had your 15'?

If I were to choose a loud, great sounding cat-back for your S550, it would 100% be the Magnaflow Competition Catback Exhaust. It sounds great, provides minimal drone, and absolutely screams when you need it to.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

Hi will
I bought my 15 GT with performance package last Thursday and I am looking for an axle back for it. Do you have any recommendations if I want it to be relatively quite while route on highway, but louder when rev?
Thank you!
Lion

Hey Lion,

Can we get another round of applause for another s550 purchase

Let's see some pictures!

I have the perfect exhaust for you.

If you are looking for an exhaust that's loud when you want it to be but quiet when cruising, I would go with the Ford Racing by Borla Touring Catback Exhaust.

They sound absolutely great, but are definitely tame when you need them to be!

I'm going to stop talking and let you listen:

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

I don't know if you've seen it, but the gigantic resonator that comes on the 15's is gigantic. I'd definitely get a catback system.

2015 GT , I'm looking for a cat back system also ..Really don't want anything that sounds to raspy , Deep tone is what I'm looking for ..BUT I want the most HP I can get at the same time .. Weight of the system is also important ...

I'm sure the outlaw catback would give a good sound. I'm not sure how noticeable any catbacks are power wise though

I completely agree with Nate, you will love the Outlaws!

It just so happens I have two that I can ship out!

Why don't we say one for you and one for Dakota?

Shoot me over a PM if you are interested.

Hey Erik,

That all depends on which setup you are looking at!

Which Borla kit were you comparing to the Roush?

Out of those two options, I would recommend the Ford Racing by Borla Sport Catback Exhaust if you are looking for an awesome sounding but pretty loud exhaust.

Hope this helps!
