Anybody else with squeaky brakes?

Within a few hundred miles of getting my 2015 GT, the brakes started squeaking terribly when stopping a slow speeds. I brought it in and they turned the rotors and replaced the pads. Withing another few hundred miles, it started doing it again. I brought it in a second time and they replaces the rotors, pads, etc. It is much better now, but still squeaks when stopping a slow speeds, while turning. I LOVE the car, but the brakes squeaking is not how I want to get attention . Has anybody else had this issue?

I personally haven't, but there are threads with a lot of others with the same problem on other sites.

Latest update is a TSB will be announced in a week or two, and rotors / pads replaced. All hearsay though.

Mine doing it as well. I brought it in the dealer claimed it was due to "Louisiana weather" causing moisture on brake pads. They changed pads and after another 400 miles doing same thing.

Having the same problem. Seems to be a known problem with the 2015's (non brembos) It sounds like a freight train when I hit the brakes cold. My guess is ford put to much metal in the pads when they were being produced. I have not taken the vehicle to the dealership yet but I will be soon.

Brake pads have to be a compromise between cold street use and still hold up in mountain & towing service. Ford may have got the mix wrong but in the mean time try bedding in the pads. Where it's safe to do so, try near anti-lock hard braking from 50 mph almost coming to a complete stop. Let it cool for 10 - 20 seconds while getting back up to speed and repeat 3 or 4 times. There are some online articles on this and youtube vids - search for new brake bedding in or running in. You'll find good advice for street stock as well as competition.

Check out this thread, it is a common complaint from GT and EB PP people.

Just brought mine in again for the squeaking brakes. Service advisor said there is nothing he can do because ford has not released a service bulletin telling them how to correct this. So, basically i was told sorry we know how to fix but we cant until ford tells the dealer in a seevice bulletin.

There is an official TSB out for this, pads and rotors being replaced on regular GT brakes and EB PP brakes made before a certain date like 2/11 or something.

My new GT came with Brembo, so hopefully I won't have this problem.

Here you go guys, this applies to 2015 models only. A TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin that states it's a known problem and Ford dealers are authorized to fix it.

GT and Ecoboost Performance Pack models only, built on or before 2/11/2015. Those with Brembo's are OK.

Here is the official TSB and the parts needed to fix it.

You can probably find it online at this point or go to the dealer and then can print you a copy

I have a 2016 PP and my brakes are squeaking pretty bad too. I've tried a few 60-0 stops to see if that helped but it didn't. Only 2k miles on the car.

My ride has been stored this winter. Wasn't that bad of a squeak but a squeak is a squeak. Especially on a new ride. Dealer said its normal ,however had many new Vehicles in my life and None Squeaked. Will update when I take it out next month.
