Used 2015 GT Premium PP

Local dealership is offering $25k for my 2014 GT and is asking $34k for a 2015 GT premium. It is black and has performance pack. Only 1800 miles. According to them, a guy bought the car without wife's permission and made him trade it in. Sticker price was 40k. Is this a good deal?

You can probably get that for 30-32 with some negotiating. Either way, I'd get it.

Not a great deal, but not bad. If you want a '15, you probably won't find a better deal at this time though. Give them a year and they will drop a bit along with the '14 and below. But we all might be dead by then and yolo!

Good deal. I paid $34k out the door for a brand new base GT. That's with gap insurance and the extended warranty that's like $3k. About $1500 down with trade value.

Got the car for 33,500. Not a bad price for a premium performance package.

Check with your insurance company about gap insurance. The last time I bought gap insurance through a dealer, they charged me $500. I then checked with my insurance company and it was $6 per year. If you get it through your insurance company, you can cancel it with the dealer and get a refund.

Also. I got suckered into gap insurance with dealership. 11 bucks per month. Should I get it with insurance?

Get a quote from your insurance company. I declined everything the dealership tried to stack on to my purchase when I got my 2014 new. After doing my own research after the fact, everything they tried to offer me could be got cheaper elsewhere.

Heck of a deal. Mine was $47k... but theres nothing base about it. Do it. The money use save you can use to personalize and mod it.

Car looks good. Honestly it probable would have been a better idea to shop around for interest rates/ gap insurance. When I bought my 14 start farm was able to get my loan at nearly half the interest rate that the dealership was offering and the loan through State Farm included gap insurance through the loan. You could always shop around and refinance the car If you can't get a better rate elsewhere.
