Gas Milage

I was pleasantly surprised by the highway gas milage I experienced on my recent trip south. Averaged right around 24 MPG at about 79 MPH the entire way. Was expecting around 20 for some reason... Love it when expectations are exceeded!

I'm averaging 20.5 - 21.5 mpg when I hand calculate the mileage. All my driving is "spirited" mixed driving..... i.e. I drive it like a go-kart.

I'm normally on backroads that are "50 mph" (pfffft) and a stretch of 13 miles at 70 mph (which I normally have the cruise set).

I have yet to do a tank where I've just been able to cruise.....I just have too much fun in the car.

Love it! I've only spent time with the car on the highway since I've had it (travel for work) so I'm looking forward to the "spirited" driving you've mentioned this coming weekend!

Trying to get some miles in. So far the average has climbed to 22 mpg which isn't bad for a car with only 300 miles on it.

I'm averaging anywhere between 25-28 highway. I'm recently seeing 35+ in suburban areas at 50-60 mph. That's due to me starting in second and going to 4th then 6th.
