half shafts

What about half shafts? Is it the consensus that the half shafts will break at some point?

Good night again at the track. The car is hooking really well for being on street tires. I have it leaving at 3600 RPM's on the 2-step and that's right where it's leaving good without bogging down or blowing the tires off.

Ended up making 5 passes. 3 passes were solo while I was turning up the launch RPM's and then 2 races. The dew started settling on the track so we called it a night at that point, but the rear end is working really well now.

Diff bushings showed up last night. I have Friday off so I'll install one of the sets and head to the track that night. I'll drive on each set for a week and then swap in another one.

I gotta 2015 mustang GT 6 spd manual vertical links, toe rods, delrin cradle bushings, delrin subframe bushings, IRS subframe support braces, lower control arm bushings, DSS alum one piece DS, 800 lb axles, eibach pro kit lowering springs, and M/T drag radials. The only thing that made any kind of an improvement, was the drag radials, and it barely an improvement. The speed shop charged me $600 just to swap the bushings. In my opinion, there is no way to stop wheel hop. I like to drag race my car but that's impossible with this new IRS garbage. IRS SUCKS

Which brands did you choose?

The more Steeda IRS components you equip your car with, the less wheel hop you will have. Everything is subjective, we've had customers install this kit and say they no longer experience wheel hop at all. We've also had customers install this kit and a majority of them report an 80% reduction in wheel hop.

We've grouped our IRS components into one easy kit: Ultimate IRS 'Stop the Hop' Package

Consisting of our:
555-4437 - 2015 Steeda Mustang IRS Subframe Bushing Support System
555-4438 - 2015 Steeda Mustang IRS Subframe Alignment Kit
555-4121 - 2015 Steeda Mustang Billet Aluminum Vertical Links
555-5754 - 2015 Steeda Mustang IRS Subframe Support Braces
555-4120 - 2015 Steeda Mustang Adjustable Rear Toe Links

We'd also recommend firming up the differential with our bushing inserts (removable solution, not a permanent mod).

Feel free to pm me with any questions!

Best Regards,

TJ

I already tried all the steeda stuff. The only thing I have different now are the bmr cradle and subframe bushings which were supposed to make those more solid but it still has severe wheelhop. I've tried every part steeda has and for me it doesn't help. Nothing stops it from hopping. I've spent around 2000 dollars on parts and labor for install and its just a waste I was a big mustang fan but this car has changed my mind with this irs.

If you have tried every part that we offer & you still have wheel hop ... I would like to put you in contact with our suspension team.

Please send me your contact info & I will help create the dialogue with Scott & the rest of the team.

Best Regards,

TJ
