Roadside Assistance

Has anyone redeemed Ford's complimentary roadside assistance? Experiences with it? Thinking about dropping towing from my insurance policy if it's on the up and up. Click image for larger version

I've used it before. Same as what the insurance company would do - just contact a local towing company or locksmith, et cetera.... So I would take the complimentary one and drop the one you're paying for.

Thank you! I was amazed when I opened up the owner's manual package and saw they offer that. Great way to drive customer retention... Have a nice Sunday!

When I had mine it was because I purchased an extended warranty on my 05. They are giving them away now?

Yes. It says it can be redeemed for free at anytime during the first 60,000 miles/5 years. Towing not just specific to warranty issues, but non-warranty issues as well. They'll also change flat tires, dispatch a locksmith in a lockout, send someone to jump start the car, deliver fuel if you run out and pay up to $200 to trailer your vehicle.
