My caliper is supposed to be black and now is oxidized and grey. I gave spoken to ford about re-painting them because i am still under warranty. Unfortunately, Ford will not cover the cost of a respray because they say that is due to a spray that was used. However, i have not cleaned my rims any other way than through a car wash. Please let me know if you are having this issue too!

Mikey is correct. I believe only the GT500 or the aftermarket Brembos like AM sells are black. IMO, I think solid black with the white letters looks better.

Yep. Grey as mentioned. But yours do look like they fell victim to a cleaner or chemical.

No...actually, they're grey. A very clear cut grey even in the picture you posted. I really don't know how you could confuse the two. But I'm 1,000,000 percent positive they are are grey because I drive it every single day.

No...you don't. You have no clue what the caliper color was clearly. Myself and every other owner of any 5.0 with 6 piston brembo's will tell you that the calipers are grey...not black.

If you use any wheel cleaners at all it cannot (DRY) or damage will occur. I use a car wash soap diluted in water in a spray bottle. And use a soft wheel brush. I also spray the wheel with a hose on jet setting before washing to remove as much dust as possible. I have found that if you put a coat of wax on the black P/P wheels the dust does not stick as much . Hope this helps Click image for larger version

I feel you were already getting 'actual help'. You asked and were told - by numerous people - that the calipers are grey. Don't like the answer? Don't ask the question. But please respect the folks on here - they're good.
