Factory GT Exhaust

Just installed my Flowmaster cat back exhaust which required cutting of the stock exhaust. Is there anything I can do with the stock system? I'm assuming nobody will buy it since it was cut. It's just laying around now so if I can get some money for it that would be great.

My guess is use is limited other than scrap. May check with a shop and see if they could reuse the piping, but bends/etc may make that difficult.

I donated it to a shop. He said he had no use for it, but has a family that comes and gets scrap metal for money. Said if I wanted to donate to them to just drop off so I did.

Looks like stainless goes for about 35 cents to $1.78 per lb depending on grade and location. Probably your best bet.

Possibly, all depends on the grade and your location. I think they use higher grade stainless in the factory, I could be wrong though. Find a scrap yard and give them a call and see what they are offering. Can probably fine the exact makeup of the exhaust somewhere too, maybe someone here knows.
