Love the puddle light horse.....

I had heard that Ford was doing this on the newer 'Stangs, but I really thought.......yeah, right....big deal. How clear can they project an image like that from the mirror all the way to the ground?.........
Then I opened the door for the first time at night, and just had to smile from ear to ear. It is BEAUTIFUL. It is clearly defined, bright white and much larger than I expected. Who though they'd even put on the eye?
More important, my wife who has always been a Chevy fan, loves this Mustang, the horse on the ground, and she insisted I buy it.....if you find one like her, marry her!!!!
Nice job Ford!

Now, the "Ground Speed" on the speedo? Hmmmmm......not so sure about that. At least it is in small enough font that without my reading glasses, I have to squint to read it....yeah, I'm old......

Love the puddle light horse.....

Also, the ground speed text is giving homage to the P51 Mustang.

Thanks........but for right now, while my wife was insisting I buy this car.........I was insisting I liked it well enough to leave it stock.
We'll have to see how long that promise lasts....

Well I DID order Weathertech floor mats the first night, does that count?????

My last Mustang was a 1997 Cobra with a complete Maximum Motorsports suspension and Saleen body work --- lots of other mods as well for that show winning car.
As far as doing anything like that again, I think I am pretty much...."been there, done that."

Floor mats don't count, I will give you a pass on that. But you will eventually start to wish she was louder, lower, and faster. It will happen.

Hmmmmmmm.........I appreciate your point of view, as I also heavily modified my last high performance car, a 2008 Corvette.....I can't think of a thing I would change right now about this new car, as I LOVE the stock exhaust sound, and really love the stock stance and ride.
Our streets here are horribly pot holed and patched, so I even avoided getting the bigger wheels. I wanted the 18's with 2 inches more sidewall just to deal with our terrible roads.....

I literally remember thinking the same thing as I parked my 14 in the driveway for the first time. I didn't even pop the hood for a week after I bought it. Just was really impressed with it. A month later I've got all the interior out of the car (still hadn't made a payment) and completely redid the stereo and speakers, reupholstered my seats. Then I'm under it a week later doing the exhaust and the rest is history. Lol. πŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ if you can resist the urge to modify the car then you are a better man than I. Ford did a great job with these cars but they will always send them to the dealer with the "common consumer" in mind. So your never getting the best sound, best handling ect. You already know this of course. But I'm rooting for you if stock is really what you want πŸ‘πŸ»

I had my drivers side puddle light drop out. The replacement image is crooked. I tried to fix it and cracked the plastic edge. Even if I have to pay I will replace it. Btw, I used Reload on my Ruby yesterday.
