Joined the 2015 club!

Hey all, I just bought my very first brand new Mustang!

Picked up a black 2015 GT with a manual (of course)

I have two other Mustangs, so I'm usually on the 79-93 GT or the 94-04 GT forums. But you'll probably be hearing alittle more from me around here now....lol

Here's a few pictures my wife took, but it was getting dark, so nothing good.

Thanks all! Yeah I've got a 4v in my 2000, and a vortech on my Fox, but given what the S550 is capable of, it'll be a monster in no time!

Haha yeah I'm used to my other cars riding like an old horse drawn carriage, so this new car is leaps and bounds better!

You aint kidding. There was a night and day difference between my 90' GT, and my 00' GT. The 2015 is like a week difference!

I enjoy driving it out in curvy roads the grip is great. Don't get me wrong at times I miss that classic mustang feel and drive around in my 96.

Very nice! Shine that baby up and post more pics.
There are days I miss the cars I had with a manual trans, but the A6 we just picked up shifts terrifically, and makes a nice cruiser.

As for the handling.......this is the first car where I've been unable to find or explore its "limits", as they are very high. I enter a corner thinking that the tires are going to make some noise, and ........silence......as the car just carves the corner as flat as any I've experienced. The new IRS is impressive.

I really love my 15 as well. I'm with you^ on the testing the limits part. This car sticks very well and the ride quality is very nice. Miles above the 12 I had.

Here's a pic from yesterday. And then a pic of old school and new school...lol

Yeah it's definitely alot better at handling and pushing the limits with the irs, but I've noticed the wheel hop and body roll compared to my 90' and 00' (both have alot of suspension work). So I think the first mods I'm gonna do it some subframe and a BMR irs kit of some sort. But it's so quiet for me too lol

Love that color! The day after I bought mine, I ran into two GT'S in that color that made me second guess the black Lol

---------- Post added at 10:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:14 PM ----------

My wife loves the comp orange, and she's convinced that when she trades in her fusion, it'll be for a comp orange 2015. And that's why I married her!

Congrats and enjoy it!

I was close to getting a black one again but then my dealer pulled out the blue one with black rims and performance package and i was like wooooow.

He also showed me orange one with black rims... that one was really really nice but i didnt wanna standout that much so i opted with the blue one.

If i didn't get the black one, it would have been:

-Guard
-Blue
-Red
-Comp orange

My other two Stangs are black, and even my Buell is black. So I may have a problem lol. The only color I'm not a big fan of is white. But I've never really liked white on any car (no offense tp anyone who has white)

Lol I don't know what you guys are talking about I love white mustang. Actually in 2014 v 6 forum member can't remember who has a white mustang with black stripes and side stripes and black wheels. It was one of the coolest looking mustangs I saw on here and that's saying something as there are plenty great looking stangs on this forum.

I loved my blacked out 14 it looked like batmobile and I got a lot of compliments on it but I remember seeing that white mustang and wishing I had gotten the white one so I can do same thing that guy did.

Blacked out look is very very nice but at this point it's becoming common while that white/black look was unique.

Either way man black is great color just have fun washing it..it gets dirt very easy.

I yah and I'd def say you got a problem if your last 3 cars are black lol

Yeah a few guys I know have white ones and they do look sharp with the black accents. But I just love the blacked put look. My New Edge is all blacked out, and I get alot of compliments on it. And I plasti dipped Foxbody matte black so most people are just afraid of it lol

Its weird how one thing may be common in one area, but a rarity in another. Now there's not a ton of white ones where I'm at, but the ones I do see are usually a stock v6 new edge, or early s197. Again I'm not hating at all, just not my cup of tea.

Yeah they are hard to keep shiny... it rained yesterday, so today after work I waxed her. I noticed every imperfection and mark, which drove me crazy!
