I know. That wasn't edited either. It's probably the cutoff from the projectors. It's actually a very light blue/white light. I love them.

Sounds dope. I bought plug and play LED headlights but I'm about to put my halogen bulbs back in. The LEDs suck. I assume it's because no projection LOL

You guys replacing the OEM 4300-4700K Philips quartz glass HIDs with aftermarket... At least this thread is just bulb replacements in a legit HID factory housing.

Just FYI to all, an 8K HID will be dimmer than a good Halogen will. After 5K the lumens really start to fall off drastically. Going away from the factory bulbs to anything else is a downgrade and that is backed up with numbers.

Looks over function and safety?

Looks are always debatable, lowering your ability to see at night while driving just to have some blue lights... Not the "brightest" thing to do IMO.

Those look kickass man, now I get why people would want to change them out. I was reading some stuff the other day about taking my car to a shop that is oracle certified and having them do up all the lights with either a higher quality version of what it came with it changing them out to something different. I want to get halos in my headlights and change DRL's so that they are all the same color as my raxiom ccfl Halo fog lights and make then roush fog lights brighter and whiter too. Then the two lights with higher quality LED's to shine brighter, then replace all the ambient lighting bulbs to higher output and just make my car look like the freakin North Star it's so bright...haha but really, I want to do that.

I can actually see great with these. If you haven't ridden in the car then you wouldn't know. The look is a personal preference btw. I'm sure you wouldn't give a crap what someone else thought of your car, nether do I, I like it so I keep it how I want. I haven't been high beamed the first time by oncoming traffic like I was with the factory lights. No I haven't adjusted them down. I would get flashed at least twice a night with factory lights because they are so bright.

10K bulbs in my previous 07 charger, factory halogen housings, lights aimed down not to blind other drivers. My factory bulbs were NO WHERE near this bright when they were aimed normal, nevertheless down like these. That being said, when it comes to projectors like our 15 stangs, the light output has more of a "hot spot" with factory bulbs vs a slightly dimmer "flood" with 6k / 8k bulbs

It's not as bad in your car since it's still a HID housing. Since it isn't blinding other people the color isn't as hard on the eyes as it would be if it were in a halogen housing. But of course 8000k is dimmer than 5000-6000k. That is fact.

Yes it is a fact. The higher you go in kelvin, the less output
