Does the standard GT strut tower brace need improving/replacing?

One of the things that surprises me a bit about our new 2015 GT Premium convertible is the cowl shake. Our pavement here is less than ideal, and the rear view mirror constantly is shaking and blurring, along with the upper corners of the windshield moving enough to see. It is worse with the top down, of course.
The standard Ford strut tower brace for the GT looks to be plenty substantial -- is there an additional brace that triangulates with the firewall and adds enough stiffness to improve the convertible's lack of stiffness? Is the Ford Racing strut brace and cowl brace worth the $$'s?
I am interested specifically to hear from those with 'verts, but thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Idk what the body is like on the '15's but on my 93 and 98 convertibles I had subframe connectors which helped stiffen the body up.

Yes, I think that those and a triangulated firewall brace might really help.

You have the strut tower brace and firewall triangulated brace also. Not to mention the verts have sub frame connectors. You need to take car to dealer and tell them or show them during demo ride your problem. That is what warranty is for.

Brace to the strut towers, yes.....triangulated to the firewall? No.
I wonder if the firewall brace is something that comes with the performance package.....

Yes mine is a pp gt. But I would still take it to dealership under warranty issues.

Mine didn't shake that bad. I too would take her back to the dealer.

The convertibles have the firewall and strut tower braces. I added a Steeda Extreme G-Trac K-Member Brace because to my way of thinking a suspension can't be too stiff on a convertible.

You want the k-brace and strut brace.
The pp comes with these.
