Where do you touch your trunk lid to shut it?

It seems like no matter where I touch the outside of the truck lid to shut it (especially the black GT panel) I leave a greasy fingerprint that either shows, or attracts dust. Has anyone thought of putting a handle inside the back of the lid, and using that to shut the trunk?
Having the really dark green Guard Metallic does not help this at all, as it shows everything, just like black!

I use my knuckles/back of my fingers to close the trunk. Easy fix!

Try washing your hands to see if that helps.

I grab where the space between the spoiler and trunk would be if mine had a spoiler. My old car I did that though. Kind of used the spoiler to close it

Left or right side of the trunk lid where the paint is. The black panel is a lot more prone to scratching if there is dust and dirt from driving. The paint hides it a little better. The trunk is very rarely opened on my vehicle.

Of course I was just messing around. I put it in reverse and then slam on the brakes.

I use the third brake light area under the spoiler to close my trunk lid.

0n the 2010-14's the faux gas cap might be kinda ugly but makes a good handle. On one of my cruises the 1st 15 that showed up I asked Tiger the same ? and got the look.

You guys can do the reverse slam on brake method

Hopefully everyone realizes I am kidding with all of this. I am not responsible for anyone at home attempting this and bending trunk hinges. Lmao

I just pull the trunk lid down using the inside of the lid. At about four or five inches from closed, it just drops "click".

The Guard Metallic might as well be black, and that's one of the reasons I LOVE my car cover. I only use it after I wash it, and it can sit for a day or two, uncover it and it still looks PERFECT!

Close from inside then crawl through backseat to get out, little tight but no fingerprints. 😜
