If you REALLY want a premium or some of the features, opt for the base model if you are financing. Then later, purchase some of the premium take-offs on ebay or such and install them yourself. That way, that is $3,000-$5,000 less that will be financed and WILL NOT gain interest over the life of your loan.

When I got my 2014 V6, the Premium was like $4,000 more. Instead, I spent $2,500 buying all of the stuff and doing it myself. Not to mention what I also saved without getting the interest that the $4,000 extra would have gave me.

I looked at the premium package and the prices and its like "wt literal f". Take out seats that are new or like new are everywhere, wheels are a dime a dozen, brake swap kits for GT500 setups are all over ebay and HIDs are completely unnecessary. So pay all that extra $$$ for interior lighting? Dunno. To each their own.

When I converted mine to a Premium replica, best believe I went for the $10 blue LED strips on ebay.

You would never know though unless you went to change the color of them XD

Yea. When I was looking at 5.0s, the dealerships were pricing it as a Premium for trade-in. Guess it fools alot of people.

This is what I started with. So it is possible to do a conversion. Just depends on how determined you are to do it.

I am happy with my base model. Ford did a great job with the bare bones model this time around.
