Back to the mustang world

A few months ago i sold a 2014 and bought a z06 corvette.. i just sold it on friday and looking to get into a new mustang 2015 or 2016. I test drove a 2016 today just the base model. I really liked it. Just the clutch seems like you have to let it go almost all the way untill it engages. Maybe ill get used to it. After almost an hour the sales manager agreed ln my offer.. i offered 30k. With 5k down. But what i want to know is that is it a good deal? Or should i try to get a premium 15 gt for something close to that?

Premium all the way. You'll regret not getting it.

Sounds like you will have it 4-6 months and sell it anyway! Why so many cars in so little time?

That's why I didn't get a C5. Its too "loud" as far as attention getting goes. Plus it has less ground clearance and I doubt the visibility is as good as my cobra when both have the tops up.

$30k is not out of the water for a GT, depending on the options. The clutch feel you describe is how my clutch is as well-- Must be a mustang thing. You're probably just used to the vette still.

I bought my '15 GT in May with only the all weather floor mats as an option for $31,000 out the door (including Michigan's 6% sales tax). That was $500 over what a Ford employee discount price would have been.

Honestly the z06 was a great car but i was just not happy. And i realized i dont really need a car that fast. That is why im trying to get a new mustang. Im going to try to find one with recaros and manual thats all i need.

So...........order the exact color and options that you want..........or you might be unhappy again in a few months.

If i order one how long does it take and do i have to pay the exact amount or can i negotiate that with the dealer? Because i was trying that yesterday and i think it came out to like 36k or 37 something like that.
