Need help on buying a 2015 or 2016 mustang

I will be buying a new mustang soon ( financing) and i dont know if i should get a new 2016 base model.. i know i can get one for 30k or less. But i was wondering if i can maybe buy a premium for a lil bit more. Or a used 15 pp for 35k? How much did you guys get your premiums for? And what was the msrp.

I am personally waiting until the 16s start offering rebates as I don't like buying first year redesigned models.

Now that these cars are no longer new I would think if you look at the right time you can get a fair amount of rebates on a 16 or a great deal on a 15. Try and plan to go at the end of a month or if you can wait they generally offer great deals around thanksgiving and Christmas.

Truecar.com is a great place to look and see what most people are able to buy cars for.

I used it to get an idea on pricing when I purchased my car and knew I got a good deal.

Great deals on '15s are to be had...bought a '15 GT premium with sticker of $43k out the door at $40k (ttl, etc.) with 6 year 0% finance.

Hey guys when Ford MC advertises a rate like what I got 0@72 months it is offering it to anyone who qualifies for FMC financing. (No fine print like FICO score of 770+ req'd)

I like that about Ford.

I think it's probably a good idea to wait until the second year. On the other hand I'm not seeing many other GTs out there and it draws a lot of attention. On the other hand I'm not seeing many other GTs out there and it draws a lot of attention. On the other hand I'm enjoying it now.

Try to figure out the exact equipment and color and interior you want. see what it would cost you. Compare that with your next options (eg 2015s w fewer choices). I got mine for 2k under msrp no performance pkg. I can make it better for quite a bit more. I would have probably spent about 2k less on a perf pkg. overall. But the one closest to what I wanted in the area was the wrong color. On the other hand I got black which birds and copious amounts of dust particles seem to aim for. On the other hand I got black on black.

Make sure you'll love it. Keep it long enough and the bucks won't matter as much... hopefully. ....

Should have gone with the vert. nah. Right? Nah. Top down summer. Ugh. Top down today? Hmm.
