After 5 hours at the dealer yesterday i finally drove my new 2016 mustang gt home im happy with my decission. Amazing beautiful car.
Today i got my windows tinted and muffler delete. I love the sound so aggressive. Recaro seats with the performance package is an amazing combo.

OK, for a novice, what exactly is a "muffler delete"? I put a set of Magna-Flow pipes on my 2015 GT and they are awesome. What did you use?

Beautiful car, I've liked black for many years...my last drag only car was black and it looks fantastic when it's shined up.
Why do young guys like cars that can wake the dead two counties over??? I love a muscular sound and loud and raspy???
I'm with 5inco...retired and just glad I live in neighborhood that doesn't have any loud hot rods.

A muffler delete is when they cut off the mufflers and weld in a pipe to the tips. In my opinion it sounds so good. Way way cheaper than an axle back and for my taste it sounds amazing.

Thanks. I love the black. I detailed it yesterday and it looks beautiful. I think down the road ill remove the resonator too.

True, the Magna-Flow cat back was a bit pricey. But it is legal in my area where the "delete" may not be. You have the identical look on your 2016 that I have on my '15, right down to the wheels and Ricaro seats (a must with the performance package).

I replaced the resonator with an "X" pipe.

I have never heard a 5.0 that didn't sound good. I bet it does sound good without any muffler.

Nice looking and sounding. I put an xpipe in place of resonator and competition Magnaflow mufflers. Very loud yet not too loud. Not sure it's less vocal than yours. I don't want to over annoy neighbors and long trips are no problem. I'd be worried about those long trips > one hour w no mufflers. Esp w/o the resonator. Might need dynomat or something. I've done 4+ hours and it's no problem. Not at all. I've been on a long trip with a car that was too loud inside. 30 minutes was no problem. After about an hour it was. Never again. I get that's a personal thing. I just don't need the car screaming at me winding up and down HWY 1. I trip up the street or across town, no worries.
