Keyless something?

I hear something actuating (multi clicking) under hood while moving around / cleaning the car on the outside with keys in pocket.

Send a message via Skype™ to 99ford
Are you sure the lock/unlock buttons aren't being pushed?

No. When keys are away, no sound.

you are activating the buttons when they are in your pants

or if it's a 2015 it may be the automatic unlock feature if they have that.

Mine does the same thing and drives me nuts............when I am washing the car or especially drying it, I have to take the keys out of my pocket, and put them on the counter in the garage.
The door handle lock/unlock function is extremely sensitive, and I found this out even at the car wash when spraying near the handle, that the car was constantly locking and unlocking itself.

Isn't there a perimeter lock on these things? I've come back to a locked car when I knew for sure I never hit the lock button on the FOB or handle. I always assumed it was the perimeter feature engaging. I too take my keys and set them somewhere else when washing.

I think it may be a combination of things. I do have the perimeter system and the key fob is sensitive. Just not sure what the perimeter is doing. No one seems to know but the dang design engineer who is now probably with NASA.
