Magnaflow

Anyone have personal experience with Magnaflows and an H pipe? I have a local shop telling me less than $600 for parts and labor, which is almost too good to be true. So I want to lock that price if others have any feedback on the quality and sound.

Thanks,
Adam

So are you asking about getting that stuff welded in custom or actually a magnapack axleback and a h pipe?

Axelback and h pipe. Looking for a deep, non-raspy tone. Saw videos on CJPP and thought the setup sounded good, but I never trust the sound on a video.

That does sound suspiciously low for a price. Price the stuff out on AM and then ask him exactly WHY it is so cheap. I'd verify its actually Magnaflow stuff he's putting on there too at that price...

As for Magnaflow itself, yes it is a deep non-raspy tone. Its mild at idle but you still know its aftermarket. Its mild off idle and when you punch it it'll really start to open up to a legit scream at redline but is not raspy.

My guess is he is planning on slapping 2 universal street mufflers on it. Those are prob 150 each, the rest goes in his pocket.

And he'll pinch bend up an H pipe out of aluminized tubing he has... Although aren't the 2015s not removable for the H or something? Integrated into the header? Dunno
