Nitrous.........and headers, exhaust and tune.

And, this is my 667th post.....wanted to have something to say to move off of that LAST one!

Also, and this makes a BIG difference. Are you talking about HP at the flywheel or rear wheels?

Nitrous is a power adder. And the most effective one by a mile. The downside is obvious.

And yes technically as it "forces" more oxygen into the chamber and the car compensates by "forcing" more fuel in through the injectors.

Boss or cobra jet manifold would be a step in the right direction along with the other regular mods like full exhaust, intake, and tune. Unfortunately neither manifold will fit under the stock hood of a 15.

Maybe try and loose some weight in the driveline, less rotational mass will reduce the amount of power lost from flywheel to rear wheels.

Side note for the 15, make sure your IRS suspension is modified enough to handle the power. I find the stock IRS to be pretty sloppy on launches with just a full exhaust, intake, and tune.

If you want horsepower for acceleration, gears are always another route too depending on what ratio you currently have. Won't add power but will help with acceleration.

I want pure hp at the wheels. And i dont want to add noz. I dont want to spend more than 6k. Current mods are: x pipe with muffler delete. Lowering springs. Next lt headers along with a tune, mgw shifter.. what numbers will i be looking with full exhaust and a tune ?

450-475 maybe, I changed my exhaust & lost 50 lbs, changed the drive shaft and lost another 20 lbs, yes gears will "help acceleration"& the tune is important.

I am not sure if it is doable for 6k unless you do all of the labor yourself.

Got to pay to play.
Cams, ported boss or CJ, long tubes and e85 at a minimum.

If your staying NA do it right and build a real NA car no off the shelf NSR crap cams
