MGW, Barton, Steeda, Stock or improved stock

Are you considering shifter upgrades? What is your plan, preference and why?

The Panther has purchased the Steeda Tri-Ax ... anxiously awaiting his feedback!

Best Regards,

I'm considering the Barton...because it's $350 right now at LMR.

Although I really don't want the 25% reduction. Might do the 20%

I really like the Steeda. Got their Tri-ax on my other two Stangs. The only reason I haven't bought it yet is, I was told by one of the techs at my dealer that it would void my warrenty. I guess anything is possible, but I would figure that a very reputable company that has worked with FoMoCo in the past, there wouldn't be an issue.

It won't void the warranty. Even if it did, just swap the stock shifter back on if you need warranty work, how the hell are they going to tell?

I love the Tri Ax for the toploader transmissions but for a remote shifter... I'd have to say get one that replaces the entire assembly and the MGW is the only one that does this. IIRC, Steeda has something in the works that will be similar to the MGW but the MGW is already out and MGW products are about as top of the line as it gets. Not saying Steeda stuff isn't too.

It's not in the works. It's . Available. The Barton replaces the entire assembly as well.

Oshi! You are right, I was looking in the 11-14 section. I can only assume the 11-14 variant will be out shortly.

Wondering myself how this stacks up to the MGW.

It's the steepest throw reduction at 30%. The Barton is 25%. Not sure about the mgw because it doesn't specify on their site.

That was my thoughts as well, but I'm hoping TJ will chime in and say something similar lol
