Dang, really? There is quite a bit of cowl flex on our 2015 GT convertible with the standard suspension. So, I always thought Ford avoided having even more flex if the PP were offered.
I wonder if they added more stiffeners to the chassis for the 2016 so they could offer the PP on the 'vert?

For now I have a friend that owns a dealership who is selling for me for a small commission.
It only has 8K miles on it and I added a bunch of mods...
Should be able to get a fair trade in.

I added a Steeda K-Brace and Jack rails. They made a huge improvement.

So, this is what they are saying:
"Finally, Ford is offering a Performance Package for the Mustang GT convertible with the manual transmission, similar to the kit available for the fastback but catered to the drop-top. The package includes upgraded suspension, Brembo brakes, 19-inch black-painted alloys, a larger radiator, strut tower brace and K-brace, retuned electronics, a Torsen limited slip differential, machine-turned aluminum instrument panel, a new splitter and the removal of the rear spoiler"
I am sure with all the nice mods out there if there is a flex issue that is not addressed by the above, it can be taken care of. My 2012 GT/CS 'vert with all the mods and the Bama tune is pretty quick and I don't notice any flex at all. I just don't want an AT anymore.... BTW Guard was my second choice on color...it's unique.

Nice choice! You'll love it for sure not to mention the new 5.0 motor has stronger internals. Always a plus!
