Yessir! Need to figure out the GT emblem on the rear. Only one I've found is almost $50. Might see if I can remove it, sand it down and paint it. Also need to tint the windows badly lol. One other thing I had in mind was the hood vents (heat extractors). I know AM has vinyl decals, but I wanna stay away from vinyl. Remove and paint or find take offs?

Before you go through all the trouble of taking it off and sanding it give plastidip a go. Don't know where you are located but ActaCore in Carnation WA can do it or you can do it yourself. Really not too complicated. Here is a truck they just did last week. And my first mustang that was black before and they did it in matte electric lime green. I had them do all my emblems on my last mustang too. Let me know if you need any help figuring it out. You can do gloss coating too to match your other emblems. It's a very cost efficient option that's worth a go. Click image for larger version

I plastidipped the rear faux gas cap on my '12. I was really easy and that's always an option for now. I do want something more permanent, but will probably go the dip route.

Black Mustangs are awesome. Hard to keep clean but, when they are spotless they look the best. Mine is blacked out except for the rims. I'm happy with the look. You have a nice ride.

Thanks! I loved how my black 2012 looked blacked out, but yeah, so hard to keep clean.

$50 for the rear emblem is just ridiculous. I think I'll go the plastidip route on that one.

Installed the grille pony this morning. It was a pain since I didn't remove the bumper, but it's on there.

Got the black 5.0 emblems installed this morning. Much better! Last one is the trunk GT emblem.

Looking good, nice job! I can't quite tell, but if your windows aren't tinted, that would look even more bad a** with the blacked out emblems.

With the GT emblem I actually did the whole piece to get the flat look. Click image for larger version

ID:	195275 you can pull off the whole piece so you don't have to mask anything.

Yes it's fast, no you can't drive it.

Tint hasn't been done yet, but will definitely happen in the very near future. I actually can't stand to not have tinted windows lol.

I wanna keep the gloss black look, so I guess I'll eventually bite the bullet on the expensive rear emblem. I was also debating on putting a black pony back there, but just don't know.
