You may be able to stack a couple of $500 rebates if you qualify for more than one.
I don't have any idea if the incentives come from the dealer or Ford.....when I ordered my new 16 there was an incentive from GM to order it from the factory and I took advantage of it.......plus the Costco Holiday rebate program. When I ordered my car I saw a brand new 15 that was $10k off sticker.
If you are going to by a 15 now would be the time............

The V8 isn't going to die!
You can get active exhaust by buying a Roush.

This is funny I was just reading an article about what people are expecting and looking forward to in the 2017 Camero, I was thinking damn the 16s are barely on the streets yet ( at least here) and people are already speculating about next year.

My friend got one yesterday. Drive on up!

I rode in it. It's a Corvette. Has that sound and giddy-up. He wants to race me.....

As much as a Mustang fan as I am, if I was buying new right the hell now and it came down to the Mustang vs the Challenger vs the new Alpha Camaro I'd get the Camaro.

But I highly doubt I will be buying anything new any time soon. IMO the best value out there for a newer car is a 2011/2012 base model GT Mustang. Or a fully modded/all TSBs done 07-09 GT500 which can be had for $30k making 700whp. I even have seen them for that price and power with suspension done too although many of them will be dyno queens.

And TBTH... for a performance street car THE best value out there is still a F body...

Camaros have great engines, but the rest of the car is so horrid as a daily driver candidate that it gets a big no in my book. The same is true of the Corvette. Great specs and super fast, but in order to get that speed, you have to make a deal with the devil and buy the rest of the car that's built around it.

My Mustang is a fantastic daily driver by comparison.

I do not like the high dash in the 2016 Camaro. I agree the Mustang is a great touring car.

If you have never taken a ride in MRC suspension system it's hard to realize how nice the GM car rides compares to the Mustang......and now with IRS and 5 link in the Camaro with the optional MRC...........if it rides anything like the Cadillac ATS-V I'd rather have the Camaro as a DD than the Mustang. Don't get me wrong I still like the Mustang........as a DD not so much.

There will ALLWAYS be something "new and improved" out there..............trust me, 435 HP (and it typically dynoes as more!) is plenty.

What this person said. If you wait for something better to come out you will never buy ANYTHING because there is always going to be a better version coming out next year.

In my opinion if you like the way the car looks and drives right now and you are able to afford it get it. My dad died in 2015 and it made me realize life is too fukkin short and you say ill wait for 2017 ...not to kill the mood or anything but who knows if you will even be alive in 2 years.

Oh and also for people saying camero SS is faster who cares there is always going to be a faster car too even if you get a camero SS ...corvette will still be faster and if you get corvette then lambo will be faster etc etc. Bottom line is if you put New Camero SS next to my 15 GT and let people see inside and outside i would say that most people will say that mustang is much better looking car.

The black Camaro SS looks just like a Batmobile. Some might say that is an awesome look.
