It sounds like you and your wife have a really good time road tripping around!

What is the story on the red football field?
I've never seen that before.

Google Eastern Washington football --- their field is called the inferno. I think it was one of the fields that made the NCAA outlaw any further colored turf.
And yes, after retiring, we've had some really nice trips together....we traded that red Corvette straight up for a new F 150, bought a 29 foot travel trailer and did four years of travel all over the US.
Glad to have a play car back in the family though!!!

I was asking Guard 5.0 a question... Why?

If I was asking you a question, I would say "Why Aussie? Why?

And you would inevitably reply "Hey mate! What's wrong with us Aussies?"

I like Guard Metallic!

I always swore that I would never own a red vehicle. But a couple of years ago, during a moment of weakness, I purchased a red car hauler/ramp truck. I don't know what in the hell that I was thinking! Oh well, I'm getting used to it... I guess.

Hahaha ok lol. Sorry dude!! Didn't realise his nick was guard!!

Guard 5.0 I got a better pic of the stripes for you so you can see the way they graduate from 50% opacity to solid!Click image for larger version

ID:	198456 only the last few inches of the bonnet are black. Then the roof is solid and the tail graduated again.

Who made those for you? I really like that they are variegated liked that!
As ours is a convertible, I would not need the ones on the top of the car though.......

Yes! Those stripes look really good!
They're subtle, yet not so subtle that you don't see them.

Just came like that as my OTT factory option...I was expecting solid but love them like this. Thinking that maybe the stripes on darker colours like magnetic and guard are like this?? Or maybe it's a different spec for ford Australia?
