Deals are a dime a dozen.......the reason I switched is that the Mustang just didn't have the creature comforts that I wanted at this time in my life....plus I really wanted more room...if I was 20 years younger I would have be driving the Corvette or CTS-V...The Cadillac has 4 years bumper to bumper warranty plus road side assistance plus free maintenance and tire rotations...the list just goes on and on.
I've had Fords since my 68-1/2 SCJ Mustang drag car and never looked anywhere else. The car I bought had so many things going for it and the Mag-Ride suspension is just fantastic......the performance ain't bad either.
Leasing a vehicle is great for Corporations......for an average person I think it's a total waste.......unless you own your own business...........IMHO

Im kidding with you guys. I didn't get a z06. I came close but 100k is a little steep for me. Although the payments weren't as high as I thought.

The dealer sold my damn grey 14 this morning because I had no deposit down. But they knew I was coming today to sign paperwork...

I ended up with a 2015 2LT Z51 and yes I got the 8 speed auto and it is f-Ing amazing. The previous owner slapped that z06 badge on. I only have one crappy pic right now and it's before they cleaned her up. It has cool options like a carbon fiber aero package which includes carbon fiber side splitters and front splitters. It also has carbon fiber badges painted black ect... My big thing was the z51 package, dual mode exhaust and the magna ride selective damping. This car had it all and for a reasonable price so it's sitting in my garage as we speak : )Click image for larger version

I wanted to spare the embarrassment of 16 year olds with the same car as me. Which is why I sold my mustang.

Not quite 100k...they were low 90's but 650 hp is no joke man.

Fun fact....my c7 is almost 700 pounds lighter than my mustang 😐

So 30k more for a 700lb lighter car means you pay $43.00 a lb

You are comparing an every mans car to a 2 seater gov bailout.

Congrats on the car, I hope it lives up to the price tag. Seriously I do.

If you can afford a new fully loaded mustang gt, you can afford a used c7. And the c7's hold value much better.

One of the reasons I purchased it is because I can't see myself changing anything about it. I doubt I'll do anything to it, although that might change I'm sure.

And here I was looking forward to hearing about the throttle response of the Z06.
I will bet you fall in love with the Mag-Ride...........part of the reason I fell in love with the ATS.
Very, Very nice looking Corvette...........if I was 30 years younger I'd probably have one in my garage next to the 03 Terminator.
Send some pictures when you get it cleaned up....congratulations!

I'm sticking around. I like reading about mustangs and adding my two cents. I'm sure at some point I'll consider getting a gt350. We will see.

2015 gt vs c7 stingray

Good. I'd like to see that Corvette on here. Looks like Rap isn't the only Corvette owner on here anymore. Plus C7's are sexy! Love the Voodoo though!
