Great, we will be here waiting to hear the outcome. I'm sure they would not have agreed to replace those items if there was not some Ford info confirming the possibility of a vacuum leak pulling the brake fluid.

Dealership called to tell me not a vacuum leak but clutch slave cylinder leaking and fluid being absorbed by carpet. So new slave cylinder and carpet hope to have it back Friday

While that is indeed great news, I have to ask the obvious. Hoe in the world did they not find a fluid soaked carpet a few weeks ago. You mentioned that a significant amount of fluid had disappeared. So much that you had the refill the reservoir more than once. How could that much fluid soak into the carpet right at your feet and not be noticed by you or them? That's puzzling, but if it is now fixed well great.

They told me they looked for that specific problem and found nothing. I hadn't noticed anything either

So the dealership has had the car for a week and I won't have it back yet again today, pretty sick of driving the focus they gave me.

No just called mid-week saying they found the real problem, hopefully today. Sucks I am in London for work the wife will have to ask all the questions I have.

Hey if you aren't busy next Monday why not drive down to St Petersburg to Biff Burgers and hang out with 80 or so Mustang owners. We'd love to hear how this transpired. Cars start arriving at 4PM and continue until the raffle at about 9PM.
That is June 6th Biff Burgers on 49th St
