Not really. Just adds a bit of power depending on mods. I guess you can say it will be louder cuz your foot will always be mashing the gas pedal

What do we have so far for weight reduction ?

The easiest thing would be a quality set of light weight wheels, Forgestar or Enkei come to mind. Do a little research on sprung vs unsprung weight and you'll see what I mean.

Pretty much reducing rotating mass.

Bear has rotors for the Brembos that cut 10 pounds off each front rotor.

Are you planning to drag or track your car? If you are only going to use your car on the street, you really should do some research first. How you mod your car should depend on how you plan to enjoy your ride.

(Tuning your engine will void your warranty. Just a FYI.)

Id say suspension so you loose that wheel hop and can plant that power down.

And a Carbon fiber DS lose some rotating mass

For weight reduction I've just taken out the rear seats, lost the stock exhaust that's full of cement, and changed my rims and tires. However my forgestar rims and nitto tires probably weigh about the same as the stock set up as they are much larger which negates the forged wheel being lighter.

All the weight is about to come back when my cage gets here though

The weight might have come back but I bet those tires made a hell of a difference and that cage will let your car handle much much better

The tires changed the car entirely for me, the stock set up just seemed to hop and spin excessively. Now it hooks up and rides much smoother.

I can't wait for the cage to go in. It just shipped out today but I'll make a post about installing it and how I like it when it arrives.
