My 2017 was built on June 15

May be sooner than that. My 2016 GT PP was built on the first week of June and showed a June 23 delivery; it arrived on the 13th. I pick it up today...

6-8 weeks is the dealer equivalent of the Biblical 40 days. it'll be a while we really don't know how long.

When I spec ordered mine (2011) I was told the same and it took 14 weeks. It was worth the wait hope you enjoy yours.

Mark, check out the regional section I run rides in CT and central MA a few times per year.

Not much difference from 2015 - 2017's, they should lump them all together.

Dealer told me last week, my 2017 build was scheduled for week of August 8th.

Then told me this week, that the build date was scheduled for 8/12.

Pics when she arrives.

What dealership are you buying your car from? I purchased mine from Veterans Ford new in 2014.

I also bought my 2014 GT Premium Convertible from Veterans Ford in 2014.

But just sold it with only 4,200 miles last week!

This time around Lamarque was working with me more on the price.

Funny b/c I just bought my 2015 F150 from Veterans a few months ago. Though when I was looking for my 2012 F150 I ended up getting that one from Lamarque.

I shop back & forth between Lamarque and Veterans Ford all the time, I look at Don Bohn just to see if they have anything I like. Don Bohn had 2 orange GT Performance Packs at the same time, a few weeks ago. But before I could get around to going look at them they BOTH sold.

If I had seen this before I ordered my car, I might have saved some money for this low miles car: 2015 Ford Mustang - Metairie, LA - Lexus of New Orleans - FO406864

Normally, I find something on the lot, but I really wanted Leather Recaros this time & no one had them on the lot anywhere near here. So I ordered a 2017.

Yea its sad that I live literally 5 minutes from Bill Hood Ford and had to go to Veterans Ford to get a deal. 50 minute ride saved me around $4500. Lamarque usually has great deals, I was actually eye balling a 2012 gt vert they have but its a manual so I passed. Beautiful car silver with a black top. You picked an awesome color for you 2017, btw your 2014 looked awesome! !

Lamarque & Veterans both will bend over backwards to get your business.

Unfortunately, looks like I have to cross shop "to keep them honest" or they'd think I was loyal and try to charge me more.

Veterans at first was trying to go up on me. Their first offer was $1000 more than Lamarque, (roughly $600 on the trade side, $400 on the price side). They went about $600 lower, but still had a $400 + tax difference.
