I took my door handles off to do a wrap but not im having a lot of difficulty putting them back on. Has anyone done this before and figured out how to do it?

I am having a bit of difficulty following this thread. The OP is saying he took his door handles off. I assume that means he removed the interior panels, and now can't figure out how to reattach the handles? Am I right?

Then another poster has "new" door handles in a box?

I took my door panels off and removed my door handles. There is a video on YouTube if you are trying to figure out how to remove the handles. I went to reinstall mine and the passenger side went right in but the drivers side gave me hell. I am at the ford of Kirkland dealership with it right now and they are giving it a shot.

Alright so the dealership got it back on in about half an hour. There is a pin system in the door that dropped down on my drivers side blocking the handle from going back in. The passenger side pin didn't drop down so that's why that side went in fine. You can move the pin back up yourself but a little forewarning it is extremely difficult to see and maneuver inside the door because of the limited room and visibility. If you can find a breakdown diagram of the system it would probably be much easier. All in all if you have a friend at ford just have them take a look at it.

How about some pics of the wrap since you had to remove them to do it. Been curious how it turned out.
