Raxiom Navigation in 2015 S550

I purchased the Raxiom Navigation unit from American Muscle a couple of months ago. The install went very smooth and the instructions provided could not have been any better. But lately I have had a ton of trouble with no sound coming from the unit, unit not staying connected to my phone during phone calls, GPS lag. Has anyone experienced similar issues? I am at the point that I am about to rip it out and send it back.

May have gotten a defunct unit. I would try and get a replacement from AM.

Rip it out and replace it with something else. Those units are a pos and way to expensive to begin with.
Go with a Schosch or Merta double din with a radio of your choice that already has gps, Blutooth ect. You'll also upgrade the stock radio at the same time.

Yes, I have heard nothing positive about the Raxiom Navigation units, even the Gen 2 units. Most problems are with updating the system.

FastFord13 has suggested some alternatives, or you can check ebay for a oem unit from a crashed Mustang.

Why is American Muscle still doing business with these people if the units keep malfunctioning. I got a crap one also but it cost me a few hundred in installs fees to find out. So now I'm out money due to no fault of my own. This sad.

I don't think they do business with them I believe raxium is owned by AM and just a subsidiary business unit. I have never seen any other store sell raxium products. This is similar to SVE products at LMR

Steve Voudouris is the founder and CEO of Turn 5, a Malvern, Pennsylvania-based company that owns two of the United States’ premier online aftermarket parts resellers: AmericanMuscle.com, a Mustang-only property, and ExtremeTerrain, a Jeep lover’s paradise. Voudouris has more than 15 years of business experience dating back to his days as a green-around-the-ears high schooler working with his brother and a family friend out of his parents’ basement.

There's your answer.

I got Raxiom sequential taillights for my 06 last year; they don't work (flickering etc.); was going to get an exchange "no problems"... then the AM rep vanished & AM won't reply & I phoned AM a few times & no answer.

Although some people feel the social media route isnt a good one contact them on twitter. That way others will see it and maybe offer solutions too. Sucks to be at the mercy of a company when you bought out of good faith.

I had the same issue when I upgraded my tail/brake lights to led lights from Raxiom on my 06 Mustang. They worked great for a few months, then started to flicker. Reported the issue to AM and got replacements for free. They then too started to flicker after a few months. I went to Diode Dynamics leds in 14 Mustang, no issues. I like the products from AM but I stay away from Raxiom.

I upgraded to some leds I bought off eBay and love them, got switch backs and interior lights along with license plates lights and they work great. Next going to get the spoiler that's coming from ford 320 installed plus ford warranty.
