What the hell is wrong with society these days? I've had two people ding my door in two weeks. Is there no respect for other people and their property anymore? I work too hard to purchase my things and maintain them properly to have asshats open their door haphazardly. I guess I'm becoming a grumpy old man at 32.
And people make fun of me for parking 1/2 Mile away from everyone else lol. But seriously thay sucks I learned the hard way on my f150. Not going through it on my stang.
I am 60 and it doesn't get any better the older you get. The Bright Side is before long the Alzheimers will kick in and I won't remember a thing! :disgust:
So not ok! I'm the same age man, and I too feel like an old man because of similar situations. Mine is my exhaust. People look at me like I'm absolutely crazy for having such a loud car. Society has lost their mind, not me.
Not saying it's right but honestly I've accepted this as the way it is when owning a car so I make sure however much i spend on a Car I am comfortable with these kinds of things happening to it as part of using it for a daily driver. Again definitely hate people who do this and not trying to justify it but sadly there is only so much you can do and there's really no way to prevent it from happening.
I remember when I was 17 and saved up and bought a ls1 trans am and parked at the back of the lot more then once you always have that idiot who parks right next to me regardless of 20 sports being open between my car and the next closest car.
This happened in Maine this year. Woman parked her Mustang in mall parking lot and towards the back. When she came out, whole driver side was smashed. Some young punks in a beater intentionally backed into her several times smashing the whole drivers side. A woman watched the whole thing and waited for the driver of the mustang. She told the woman what happened. Dumb asses were caught on parking lot camera and busted.
Wow, that is sad that's the world we live in! But at least we have our Mustang's to keep us happy! I have to agree, we just have to learn to deal with it as best we can and recognize it as a part of owning such a machine!
Yeah it's sad but unfortunately stuff like this is all too common. On of my dads friends has a 69 Mach 1 that he's owned the past 40 years and he only drives it to cruise and back home bc he won't park it anywhere. Really the only way to be 100% safe although some idiot can still get distracted with a phone and hit you.
Try having your neighbor cut your grass in front of my car without me knowing and through small rocks from his yard to mine and made small scratches on my hood I was mad
