Ford Performance Power Pack 3

Looking at doing this mod on my 2016 6 seed GT. Has anyone installed it on your car. And did you go with custom tune or ford tune.

Thanks
Jeff

Looks like a fun project. I haven't done it, but it seems like a decent way to build some HP...and I love that it's a ford product.

Just short of $2,000, to pricy for the horsepower you almost get.

Good that all is provided (and warrantied by) Ford......but pricey for sure! When you google this mod, some of those selling this are claiming a 70 HP increase, which kind of makes the whole thing smell a little of snake oil.

I'd prefer the PP2. Price is much lower. Fewer parts to change.
AND you don't lose any low rpm power, like you do with the PP3.

Is it a 6 Seed because you can drive it on the passenger side? Is that for only the 2016s or do the 2017s have that option also?

Usually claims like that are curve gains, and not peak gains. Like this mod may only pick up 10 whp (for the sake of example), but it may hold power further into the RPM band where the stock parts used to fall off towards redline, resulting in "gains" of 70 horsepower.

Not exactly a lie, but not exactly truthful either.

If you don't mind waiting, it may be worth holding off until you hit 36k or if you're patient the full 60k, then getting with Lund and doing the standard bolt-ons. Planning on doing mine at 36k.

I know this is sort of old, but I just found this package at LMR, incase you wanted the package without the ford tuner https://lmr.com/item/M9603M50/15-17-...ody-m-9603-m50 you can get the intake and the throttle body for the cost of most aftermarket throttle bodies.
