I see what you mean. So I did some research. (took a total of 15 seconds)
It's photoshopped, here is the original image. Now compare this one to the yellow one I posted.

That has been confirmed not to be it. Not anything like it. That was a render that Car and Driver released last year, and inside sources have confirmed that it does not look anything like that.

Confirmed inaccurate or not, that render + 5.0 = shut up and take my money. I'm getting more and more anxious to see what it is.

So I just want to ask the entire thread. If the 15 mustang comes out looking exotic looking like it will probably will. Would you trade your amazing retro style (05-14) mustang for it? I would not

I can't answer that until I see the entire car. I don't buy cars off of looks, I buy them off of performance, features, confront, and other things.

Agreed. But if it looks like eurocrap, nothing else will make up for that and I won't be interested.

As long as it is a Mustang, has mustang cues, I would buy one. If you can look at it coming down the street and KNOW its a Mustang. If when you get in it and it feels like a Mustang. If when you floor it, she leaves 11's. As long as there is a V8 option.
I won't care if it looks a little European. It will only be a trend. The retro trend will be over and the euro trend will begin, it will last about 5 yeas or so and then there will be something new again.

I prefer the look of the 99-04 and the older 60's and 70's models, I'm not really big on the newer ones, I was excited when they said the 05+ was going to resemble the older styles but I was a little disappointed. I kinda like them, but they aren't my favorite

The silver one is obviously photoshopped. All they did was literally flip the front grille upside down and do the same to the fog lights lol. Doesn't look bad, but it doesn't flow with the hood now.

Butchered photoshop at that. Look closely at the left side of the hood and grill.

I know it's photoshopped, it's really obvious. I just needed proof because Ghostedmind wouldn't believe anything.

Also, I don't know if you guys have seen these yet, but here is the new front end and a photo that also confirms that the v8 will stay.

v8 Confirmed...

Look at the lower left corner, how it bows in. That is the new front end shape, covered by the old front end. You can confirm this is unique to this engine by popping the hood on your own GT, it wont be there.

The new car will be slightly wider. This gap in the test mule helps confirm that.

And here are all the pics of the new front end on the test mule.

And a shot of the rear end (mule rear end, not the 15' rear)

Maybe not the finished product but if I had to guess from these pics and early rumors, the front end will get that Aston Martin touch like the new Fusion. May be a good example to go by as I think it will be similar, specifically with the grille. And I'm all for that. If by going Euro it looks anything like an Aston Martin, I'd rush to trade in my 12. Just keep those Mustang styling cues such as the tailights and it'd be perfect.

I love that front, and as much as I'd love to see it or something very similar on a Mustang, I'm sure that is the Fusion. I'm sure we'll see something similar on the stang though as it looks like the new look Ford is going for. As for the fastback, I'm iffy on that. Never been a fan of them tbh but if done right, could look good.

It's not the fusion, did you look at the other pic? It only has 2 doors, and it's a hatchback. Also, the Fusion lights are a little different. The picture of the front exactly lines up with the spy photos of the front end mule testing. I am 99% sure that it's the mustang.

Also, look at my previous posts. I am skeptical of everything, but I am betting that this is it.

It is exactly the Fusion. It's two different cars from your pics. All the lines are exactly the same. From the hood, grille, fog lights, bezels, it even has those sensors? on the front under the grille. Also, there are more pics then the two that you put up. It actually appears to be three different cars.
