I feel like ford is gonna change the mustang a lil like what they did 70 to 71 but it will still look good. To me (you can argue with this but its my opinion) the 73 was the last great year all the way till 99 and i feel like thats what gonna come they try to fit that new modern look and end up ruining what a muscle car should be.

The pics ive seen look like a weird combo of the mustang and the fusion. I mean the fusions a nice car but i dont think combining them will look good. Ive seen renders and i hope they dont do it i think the 2013 mustang has been the best stang since 73

That's sort of impossible because they aren't making the GT500 anymore.

I'll believe it when I see it, but as for now, IMO I doubt that the gt500 is coming back.

The GT5000 will return but the 5.8L, 662 HP engine won't.

Buy one while you can.

I would also add that the new 2015 nose looks a little too ricey for my liking.

I know! I can't wait to see what ford does with this! It seems like there giving alot more pride and research into there new mustangs. To be honest the 13 5.0 was one of the nicest mustangs that they have ever made. I love the new front of it also.

Why do you want it to go away?

No, I think my comment was misunderstood. It's not that I want it to go away. I think it's a great car, it's that I don't think Ford will bring it back. I think they are going to replace it with a Mach 1 or a fastback. If they do have a 15 gt500, that's great, but I'll be surprised if it happens.

So to recap accurately, none of you know anything about the 2015... but there's 2 pages of it.

We know that the car will change in appearance and the rear suspension will change. But lets put things in perspective, its may of 2013, what should we know about a 2015 model!

I want it to go away so they can make cobras again without the shelly badge so they don't have to pay a crazy royalty to shelly every time they sell a car. A cost they pass on to us.

I hate rumor threads. The info isn't public and why spoil the surprise. It will be rwd, have a selection of engines, get a little smaller (lighter hopefully) and get a little quicker. Personally, I'm tired of the retro look and given the buying power segments, Ford should start producing a car for the post baby boomer generation market. Sleeker lines and higher grade materials on the way.

if you take the guy over at 3.7mustang.com on his word, it looks like the engine options are out - 2.5l turbo 4, a v6 and a more powerful v8:
