Lightbulb Camouflaged 2015 production body spied

First time the 2015 production body has been spotted on the 2015 chassis. Always been the s197 body until now.

Flat in the front, flat in the back. That doesn't feel very European to me. But then again the clothes are still on, so I'll hold any positive or negative reservation till we see it in full.

Doesn't look super sleek or European to me either (a good thing IMO). Muscle cars should look bullish and stocky IMO.

Looks like they are misleading the masses with that cover...there's so many padded areas to change the body lines I'll still say its anyone's guess how it'll look.

Exactly! I agree 100% I just mean, they said their goal, or that the new design was going to look very European. Unless they mean Lamborghini.. (the only manufacturer I'd say that is European that has supported straight lines more than curves in their designs).

Ok......I'll throw this out there: Anybody seen the 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish??? I like it and think that the new Mustang is going to pull a BUNCH of its styling from this car!!

I think you're right. If you look at that body line/rail running under the mirror on the Aston, there's definitely something similar on the 2015 prototype. You can see it in one of the zoomed in pictures:It gives the front fenders more of a bulge or "hips." The side skirts look similar to the Aston's too. Personally, I like it. Can't wait to see the 2015 without a cover.

It's not the convertible. In other pictures, you can see the rear roof line.

Those creases are most likely cardboard or some other material Ford stuffed under the camo to hide the car's real shape. Makes you wonder what changes they've made to the rear of the car

I like the trailer hitch, are they checking towing capacity? Just seems odd.

It's funny how Ford tries to comply with the law: license plate, rear visibility, break lights, turn signals

Well, if they want to drive on public roads, they kind of have to. They do have manufacture plates on, which gives them a bit more leniency on what they can have on the car.
