I've been following this on Mustang6g (The hornets nest for 2015 rumors) and this is a list of what I know so far.

1. It will be very similar in size and shape to the current mustang, to the point where if you didn't know what you were looking at, you would just assume that it was a heavily modified 13.
2. It will be slightly smaller, and lighter.
3. It's a little bit shorter, but wider in the back.
4. The GT will outperform the 13 boss 302 in every way. (handling and performance)
5. IRS has been confirmed from various sources, and various spy photos.
6. 3 main engine lineups. 4cyl Eco-Boost @ 300hp (35mpg hwy) v6 @350-375hp, and v8 @ 450-475hp
7. The interior will be significantly modernized

Idk why but the prospect if an EB DD Mustang is more and more appealing to me every day. Then again, I love hearing the turbo spool on my wife's EB Escape. As long as the EB Mustang doesn't look like a bargain bin model it'd be interesting, especially if the new car is lighter like everyone keeps claiming.

(But don't get me wrong, I'd still flog the crap out of a GT if I could afford a winter car as well)

Anyone notice how small and narrow the cabin is compared to the width on the mustang right behind it? Looks like a wider rear end and narrower cabin with a little more fast back going on. Looks much sleeker from the side too but there's a lot of shape shifting going on under the tarp to hide its true form

Hard for me to make a judgement based off a camo'd mule, but I do know I have always preferred the refresh of any generation I have been around for versus the initial offering. I'm sure it'll look good, but give them 3 or 4 years with the platform to really nail down the styling.

If you're wondering what the grill looks like, here's a better pic with less camo.

Man, that's not a good looking front. Ill wait for the next generation stang. Maybe then Ford can get the design right in 2030 Yikes. Just buy a Fusion and call it a day

I still think people need to chill out and reserve judgements for when the details of the car are, you know, VISIBLE. I spent several years working at a dealer that serviced cars for the GM Proving Grounds and you'd be amazed at what they can do under/with that camo.

Again, not saying the new look will win over everyone just chill and give it a chance first

I'm counting on the 2015 being a success so I can pick-up a cheap GT

Ok sooo where r they going in those videos? If u owned ford and had the most popular selling car ever made, would u let the newest model wrapped in a tarp just drive around in the rain? I'm about to wrap my car up like that and cruise lol. That looks so stupid. They have been driving and towing that thing around for a while now. It's gonna be dirty as all get out under that tarp.

Better to get real world driving impressions for tuning and improvements than depend on a simulator. You think a large global manufacturer cares about a mule getting dirty under a tarp? Not like the thing came off the assembly line and has any chance of being registered as a road-going vehicle

That's the NFS car. Someone who actually saw the 15 said that it's very similar to that.

No, that render was made by Top Speed. It was just posted there.

THIS is the one from someone at Mustang6g. I could see this being the next one, or something close to it. I like the big wheels, side vents and the mean side skirts.

It was posted on Mustang6g, but it's not a render. That's an actual car that was made for the NFS movie. EDIT* I looked closer at the front end. Those lights are altered a bit to look more like the 15, but the car as a whole is an actual car.

It is funny. People have no clue on what the 2015 stang looks like or the power it will have but everybody the 13 is way better. How about we wait to see when Ford releases the actual 2015 stang and then make your opinion on it. Right now, its all rumor and crap out.

Who here is actually planning on buying a '15?
I don't think it'll suck. It might take a little time to accept the change. I know even after I bought my '11 I wasn't thrilled about the shape of the rear end but it grew on me.
