Front end fully revealed

Looks like a evolved S197. Not as different as I thought it would be.

It looks like a mix of the 11-12 v6 (or 07-09 Shelby) and the 13-14
Front bumper

It's hard to look at. I'm getting the same feelings I had about the '10+ body style, but worse.

I only didn't like the rear bumper and taillights shape of the '10-'12. It eventually grew in me. It helped because I loved the nose and the side lines of the '10+. I don't know what to expect for the rest of the car.

Yeah, you're right. That headlight shape does kinda remind me of a new edge. I didn't quite look at it like that before.

I'd have to agree. The fog lights belong in the grille. Otherwise, it's better than I'd expected. I hope the rest of the car keeps some classic lines.

I'm curious to see the entire car... As of now I'm not liking it but the whole car might change mind.

Low quality picture of a car partly shrouded in that test car stuff and without the accoutrements. I'll wait till we get some shots of it when it's production-ready, but judging from this I kinda like it!

And what about the seat belts? Where do they mount in comparison to the current model???

Me too - it reminds me of the Focus ST which I loved (aside from the issues mine had). I won't be getting a new Mustang, but from what I've seen (that's not an artist rendering), I like 'em.

The glove box better be bigger! The current one is just large enough to hold that huge information booklet they give you at purchase, nothing else. It infuriates me! It's not a glovebox really, it's a information booklet holder!

Mmm i disagree. A glovebox is meant to hold gloves but here you are saying it can hold a book?? Too big. Needs to be smaller.

But i think the end result will be great. Not too big of a fan of these "spy shots"...

Yep, it's definitely channeling that Focus look; the big mouth bass as Mustangman said. Combined with the pseudo-New Edge headlights, I think it's cool.

Not a fan of those headlights. Looks really good one the line of fords out there now, but I always liked that the mustang didn't evolve with the other cars. If they want the fiesta/focus/fusion/Taurus to share similarities for brand recognition, then more power to them, but leave the mustang alone. It's not like people have a hard time telling a mustang apart from other makes lol

UPDATE-
A reliable source on Mustang6G is reporting that this isn't the final front end, it's a thrown together mule from last June. That info may make some of you happy.

But what about the coat hooks? Will they hold 3 shirts or 5? Are they chrome or color matching the headliner?

Dont forget about the Emergency Brake! Will the handle be longer than previous mustangs or shorter? Will it be bedazzled? Will there even be a handle, maybe its just a electronic push button brake?(That could be a good idea..) Will it work? Will I use it? And dont get me started on that hideous rearview mirror...

ugggh altho it would be a wet dream to own a brand new mustang there is just something about the simplicity of my new edge that I don't think I would cash in to have a new mustang ... that and the fact that I don't want to make a car payment every month for the next 5 or so years lol...
