You know what? Forget about what everyone else says. More HP, more torque, lighter body, and an interior like that? I'm going to buy one.

I'm not opposed to a 4 cyl turbo. They've already made one before lol.

Crazy good mpg's and smoke a ton of cars at the same time? Sounds good to me

Not sure but it's supposed to be a 2.3l Eco boost. If the v6's are making like 300hp I think it's gonna make more than that. Cuz it's a premium model not the bad model

Agree steering wheel is too busy.
Where are the gauges? Looks like speedo, tach, temp, fuel. Where's the oil pressure and boost, I thought if was turbo?
Since I criticized it, does that mean that it's just a prototype and we need to wait for the real one?

Since all the steering wheel controls are for MFT and the in-cluster display, they're likely digital?

I'm sure they exist, but like the old school analog gauges. I love the digital gauges in my wife's 2011 explorer, but not for the mustang. May seem weird.

If the rumored power HP and torque numbers are true the 4 banger turbo is gonna be a bad a$$ fast mustang. I don't understand why so many people hate and get caught up in the engine size. If it looks like a mustang, rides like a mustang then who cares how many cylinders the b otch has. Fast is fast. A 13 second V8 1/4 mile mustang is a 13 second 1/4 mile 4 banger turbo mustang. F the size of the engine. If its looks like American muscle pony and is fast then I don't give a fuzzy rats a$$ what size the engine is. Its a new generation of smaller engines that give huge power output and its old school V8 is a dying breed. Now a days large majority of society wants fuel efficient vehicles. Nothing wrong with a 4 banger turbo that gets 35 mpg yet runs 1/4 mile stock mid 13's. F the engine size.

I say they can have as many engine options as they please as long as they don't rid the v8 entirely. It should ALWAYS be an option for the rest of time

I meant the stigma of the only powerful fast car are those with V8 engines. The typical , V8 or nothing. Times are changing. More people today are interested in fuel efficient along with performance. Sure you have your die hardcore V8 fans but they make the minority of the consumer. The majority of consumers are regular folk who want the look of a mustang that delivers power and gets 35 mpg highway. They don't give a rats fuzzy a$$ if the car can handle 600 rwhp and forged rods, cranks, piston , a$$holes, etc.

Fast is fast. Period! No matter what size the engine is..

That's mostly price and insurance based. If V8 & V6 were the same price, they would not sell a lot of V6's.
Back in the 80's the V8's out sold the turbo 4 by far.
In today's market it's hard to say what will happen. Probably people who keep it stock will lean towards turbo 4, but modders will go V8 between the two.

I have a v6 now, if I could afford the v8 I wouldnt think twice...why ? You can'take replicate the rumble like a v8 and that's what makes it a muslce car but at the time it wasnt in my price range :'(

A lot of people don't care about a rumble of the engine. They want fast, fuel efficient and sexy lines. That's what the 4 banger turbo will produce. The 4 banger turbo's will out sell the V6 and V8 models.

Then why don't electric cars sell? The Tesla, 5,000lb 4 door will smoke a mustang and beat a GT500.
There's more to it than just fuel efficient and fast. Most people worry about fuel last. It's not a top priority or they would have bought something else.

Who buys a BRAND NEW car strictly for MPG?

If they were that worried they would buy an old Subaru wagon throw a "coexist" bumper sticker and use the rest on gas money and other hippy things

Well, to start. There aren't charging stations all over the place. There too expensive. The milage distance a charge can go is not good. They suck, costly to purchase. Not perfected. Let's see, any other reasons why electric cars don't sell. Oh yeah, not roomy, small, they suck. Said that already.

A 4 banger turbo with around 320 HP will be bad a$$ and rock. With government regulations getting more strict as years to come the smaller displacement engines will be more and more common yet still providing big power. I would gladly buy a 4 banger turbo mustang if its fast and so will many.
