I'm on the good stuff. Tell me these are completely different, revolutionary changes. It's essentially the same from end, with different styling changes.

Not necessarily. I recognized that no matter how much they keep it a Mustang, it will not be close to the look of the 1970 fastback, which was the pinnacle of Mustang design to many. It attracted a lot of baby boomers who wanted to get their dream car now that they are through raising families and working. There are a lot of differences in this change, but hopefully all good. Ford needs to improve its appeal to the younger generation, many who probably like the SN95 models over the S197 models. I can live with the change in looks, if the performance and comfort kicks Camaro butt, not to mention sales.

I quite like the design. It is pretty much what I wanted. It is a new design with a few throwback points to the original ones. I don't know how the fox body was regarded when it first came out in '79 (someone chime in please), but it was a completely different design and looked nothing like a Mustang. Now though the fox body is thought of as one of the best Mustangs. I expect that given time this will be regarded as quite the good design.

I've never been much for white on cars in general, but I think it actually looks really good in that color.

And although I'd really like to get an 11'-14' (because 5.0), I'm positive this body style will be in my driveway in the future.

I think I'm more just disappointed. It does look good, but some of the concept renderings were so much better. I was planning on trading in my '13 but not anymore

I have been bashing this car since I first heard the direction it was taking. I look like a fool now that it is here and I'm loving it. The truth is mustang purest will always hate whats next. It's the " lets keep it in the family" mentality. It's steps like this that keep the mustang relevant and assure its continued production. Hey and look on the bright side. I'm sure In ten short years we will be talking about how much we all hate the upcoming 2025 Mustang. Now to spend the next year explaining to my wife that it's ideal for a family of four!

Ill admit I was alittle afraid when Ford announced the S550 was going in a global direction. But before I lost my **** as a mustang purist, I thought they've learned a lot in the last 50 years; and I'm going to trust them to make a great car. Plus, its not like I could've done anything about it anyways.......lol

And, I'm glad I did.

This is just like iPhones, the people that have the 5 don't like the 5s. Just like the people with the 13-14 don't like the 15. Honestly everyone is going to talk up their own car, I do it to mine all the time, but I actually mean it. I love my car even though it's kinda old now, it's what I liked and I plan on always having it since I got it brand new. As time goes on everything does change, I'm sure this car will probably seen every where on the road when it is actually available. Everyone has an opinion, but the only one that matters is the person buying the car.

No not everyone. I actually I have an iPhone 5 and I love the 5s.

I bought my 2014 GT specifically after seeing the car and driver renders of the 15 - that are pretty spot on - knowing if it looked like that I would want the 14. I said if I really ended up liking the 15 more I'd eat the cost to trade up. Looks like I'm keeping the 14.

I'm sure Ford will sell a ton of them and I don't hate it. but I doubt it will ever grab me like the 14.

Maybe it'll grow on me, but I don't want it to grow on. I remember when I first saw the 2013 (I know the 2011 was a big unveiling, but the small redesign on the 13-14 us what I'm referring to), and it blew me away. The rear deck, the front fascia, the way the bumper meets the hood. That car has serious sex appeal. The 99 took what the 94 had and added everything it needed ; edge! The 05 capitalized on bringing old school looks to a modern scale. I feel this car, has only slightly matured over the 14. The changes are marginal overall. The 79 was a huge difference over the 74-78. The 94 was a huge change over the 79-93 and the 05+ were a huge difference over the 94-04's. This model doesn't blow my mind. They didn't really start from scratch. I feel a little ripped off. I wish I could sit here and tell you I wanted this car more than anything. It's not because I bought a 14 that I wasn't open to getting a 15. It's sucks that now I know I won't want one. If I can't like the car stock, than I won't like the car at all. I love new car and I'm excited that every mod I install on it just makes it better! I'm hoping the mid life redesign will take a bolder step at redesigning it!

Ok so this may sound stupid but since they are adding a 4 cylinder to the bunch do you think they are gunna up the prices on the 6 and 8 or is it gunna be around the same range as what the 6 is.

I've heard the 4 is going to be between the 6 and 8. V6 is still the base model.

I do not like it all. The ONLY thing I like about it is the rear. I'm a little disappointed and thought I would want one! It has nothing to do with what year car I own, if I liked the 15 I would say it. I don't, I'll keep mine! The front end is what I hate about it.

I like the new model. It is updated to the technology of today (I hate my live rear axle on my '08 GT). Still has the Mustang feel yet updated. No issues here!

I'll be keeping my 12 for decades to come but I agree with you. It's a sweet change.

the 2005-2014 are more like the original fastback.

It was 67 when the roof line sloped all the way to the tail. And technically the 15 doesn't either. Really all the 05-14 are fast backs not coupes.

I may be in the market for a second Stang when Ford introduces the Mach 1 version in a couple of years. From what I see here, the S550 Mustang may be a viable purchase.

I have some likes and dislikes.

Likes:
Push to start button
Profile
Locking glove compartment
Wheel selection
Steering wheel
Center stack controls

Dislikes:
Cup Holders - No cover
No little cubby (to keep keys, change, etc.)
Raised dash section in front of passenger (probably needed for airbag- but ugly)
Headlights
Tail lights

I am so glad that I dont like it so much that I want to get rid of my 2013....

I do like that they moved the cup holder to the right so there is a chance a passenger can actually use it
