I think it looks too much like the Fusion in the front.

The rear is just a few inches too narrow

and it looks a little strange how they made it looks "deeper" but lowered the hood.

I think the S197 design looked the best, But then again i thought the fox model was cool too.

I hope they didn't refine it too much because i like my bumpy ride.

I second that! That's the first thing I said. " It looks more like the new Fusion coupe."

What I'm interested in is how the aftermarket area is going to take this and run. It's been said already that in a couple years things will change a bit as the GT350, and the saleens and all the other special models come out because they'll look better and we'll be able to pull the fron facia off of them to put on the base models and etc.

I like and I can't wait to hear all the 12-14 people complain when they get beat by one cause they weigh less. It will be like a fat girl on a diet saying a girl with her stomach stapled is cheating

I especially like the convertible. It's a big change and only time will tell if it catches on.

One thing interesting is the new paint colors. The new grey in the pics looks just like the Sterling Grey. The green is interesting. It will be nice to see them in person.

Saw a pic of the rag top version and really liked it. Overall I like the look of the 2015 version. It definitely has a more European look. I prefer the look of my 2013 since it has

No they didn't. But remember, in '79 most "muscle cars" were 10 to 15 years old. People were still driving around in, what are now $100k cars, as their daily drivers.
Someone earlier asked if the Foxes were as much of a change as the 2015. It was probably a much bigger change than the current model is, but in a good way. The Pintostang that the Fox replaced was disliked by EVERYONE! And, in the early eighties, the Mustang would, more often than not, kick the Camaro's ***... How are you going to complain about that?

I like the look of the 2015. It even looks good in those cell phone pics. And it's difficult to mistake the car for anything but a Mustang, with that distinctive hood.

You make no sense. That was a horrible analogy. Just horrible! You must really hate the 12-14 crowd.

Mach 1 huh? You must be so fast.

The Mustang II was a top seller so many people did like them. Not I but I never liked the Fox Body's either. Not until the Fox4.
The Original Foxs were Celica clones and don't even look like Mustangs til 94.

Its all about msrket share and dollars/euros/yen

I am not really a fan if I wanted a European sports car I would have bought one. I think Ford is really looking outside the US for a money maker. They are not worried about making money here in the US. They have the F-150 for that. I also think that so Ford seems to have made a decision reducing its share of the US market for global market share something GM and Dodge can't do.

I like my 13' just fine.

+1. It has nothing to with that as to why I hate it. If I liked it id trade my 13 in but I don't like the design at all. I still think the 13-14's look better regardless of power etc

You're right. I should have said " the hardcore Mustang guys.
The Mustang 2 was the shortest lived car of the series thus far.
The Pinto was a top seller as well...

My buddy had an original Pinto brand new. With 4 of us in the car he dumped the clutch and the tranny gears blew right through the casing. No lie.

As a hardcore Mustang guy I prefer 65-70 and 05-15. Although I almost bought an 02 GT. Glad I waited and still kick myself for selling my 65.

The Pinto had some shortcomings, that's for sure. The engine, though, was practically bulletproof if maintained properly. I had a Turbo coupe back in the day that withstood a LOT of abuse.

I'm pleased that Ford is offering the EcoBoost engine. It won't be for everybody but having a "lighter" engine available is a good thing. It will be interesting to hear the feedback from owners.
The SVO Fox of the mid eighties was a fun car that would run with the V8's in a straight line and run away from them around corners.

I know I'm getting the ecoboost. I like my GT but I'm not going to do anything else to it. I just believe this 2v is too much work for nothing.

yeah everybody's hating on it but I think it's a cool idea. Just wait til the aftermarket catches up with the 15s. New turbo!

I love the 15! If I was in the market for a new car is get it in a heart beat! It has a lot of similarities as the 12-14s IMO. Plus I remember when I 1st saw a new focus from far I thought it looked aggressive & I almost thought it was some type of aftermarket mustang front end!!

I wouldnt trade my '13 in because it's more irresponsible financially than buying the '13 in the first place . And I could throw a blower on for what I'd lose money wise to trade in.
