I'm not much of a fan of the 2015s myself. The back end looks nice and is consistent with the Mustang style, but to me the front end looks like Ford was trying too hard to copy the look of the Camaro. Someone on here said the 2011s-2014s will go down as the greatest of the later models, and I would have to agree.

Yea I agree, love the back, looks really classic. The front, however, looks far too common amongst cars. Maybe it will grow on me once I see it around though, who knows.

I'm not seeing a "Camaro" looking theme on the 2015 Mustang, but do see a resemblence to other Ford models.

I'm wondering if the 2011 to 2014 models never came about, and the 2015 Mustang style was sold in 2011, if the opinions of its styling would be the same....

I guess it's unfortunate for Ford that they had such a successful run of the 2011 to 2014 style, then had to follow it with the 2015.

I think you probably need to ask what would happen if the 2015 was released in 2005. That was when the true retro styling first happened to the Mustang. The 2015 styling is a big step backward from those cars also.

Are the motors all the same for 2015 as 2014? I am trying to find the appeal

the 2015 is growing on me... can't wait to see them in person.

james, the 2015 will still offer the 5.0 and 3.7 but also an ecoboost I4.

3.7 is the same, 5.0 is improved a bit. Allegedly 444 at crank.

Funny you say that, because I say a new Fusion today and thought "that is the exact same damn front as the 2015 Mustang. WTF!" I think the headlights especially resemble the Camaros headlights, which look nothing like the classic headlights the 11s-14s have. I would have thought they would have been more unique.

I have a '14 and I'm very happy with it. With that said, I believe that Ford has done a great job with the transition to the new model. Change is inevidable. You either embrace it or go fight windmills. The 2015 looks good. Would I like to have one? Sure, but my 2014 fills all my current needs. Give Ford some props where they're deserved.

Ford's movement to a universal grill design was fine and dandy... but they should have made the Mustang an exception. Just like all Chevy's have two distinctive horizontal openings for the grill, but the Camaro doesn't. Why? It doesn't fit the look they wanted. They also should have made a true fastback, damn them for not doing it.

Pretend the S197 didn't exist at all. This looks like an almost direct development of the New Edge body styling with curves instead of sharp edges. Almost poetic considering it was the only body style that got an IRS too.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this!
