Last thing, WTF is a customized coolant thermostat?
This whole list is suspect....

Super snake engine fan? Riiight...

Underdrive pulleys for a 11-14? Non existant.

Cams without knowing the specs? No way. Not with how much work is involved with replacing these. Plus the fact that currently only one company makes them and only one style.

I'm not going to blatantly call the man a liar, but I'm going to tend to agree here ^^ A lot of mods in there I question. I'd be interested in a more detailed thread as well.

"Cams (don't remember brand)".

What???

I can tell you pretty much off the top of my head every cam I've had in all of my cars because you don't just throw any old cam in and go. Something doesn't pass the smell test and not just on the cams.

Exactly, that whole list sounds like something just hit the fan.

The Mustang Source Website is complete trash.

Definitely the plasti-dip pony!

You can also rub your car with Olive oil to increase aerodynamic flow, like Olympic swimmers shave off all their body hair...haha

Hey.

Yes correct they do not make it for the 3.7. I had it custom made in Europe by a buddy who does this stuff.

I'll ask the tuner tomorrow and let you know on cams. I am there for some gauge installation.

RPM limiter is set to 7350 now, obviously the gauge is the same as stock. Ported heads I noticed a far quicker revving than before and it also seams a lot more fluid.

We basically dismantled the thermostat and drilled holes in it so the coolant bleeds throughout the engine the entire time and increases once the thermostat opens fully on it's set temperature. It helps a lot.

No not super six. It was custom done. A friend if mine from Italy who does that stuff came over for vacation and did it for me. We dismantled the heads and he polished / ported then to specs with rented tools. I could find no one to do it here in southern CA and me and him used to do it back in Europe on VW, Toyota Celicas and Alfa Romeo cars...1st mustang ever done for him.

Super six provides the actual numbers...

So it was probably that co. I left the car with the tuner for a week almost and just picked it up. I'll ask tomorrow and let you know. Most likely the brand you are thinking of if that's the only one.

As for the fan...it's a fan off a Shelby GT500, but the higher performance one...so maybe it has another name. I thought it was super snake.

You didn't miss anything. The EB4 just responds that well to light mods.

But $32k is way too goddamn much for that car. Way too much. $25k for a base would be more like it and the base is the best IMO anyway unless you have to have leather seats. All the extra **** just adds weight/more stuff to break and any base model anything these days is pretty decently optioned.

This is why you never buy a first year run right when it comes out. Prices are jacked, first year run bugs and half the time they introduce some craziness a year or two later that makes your car look like crap. Witness countless 2010 GT owners.
32k msrp is the eco premium auto, with probably performance package and or a couple other options.

2014 v6 premium with performance package and auto is above 30k msrp with less standard options than the 2015

It's when a cop feels your car is illegally modified he sends you to what's known as a "Referee", it's a state certified inspection that tears down your car to determine how illegal it is and forces you to return it back to legal factory working order. It's happened to too many friends of mine over the years. It sucks... you loose the parts because they confiscate them and to make it worse you not only have to pay a ticket for each part listed you then have to pay for any and all of the work they do to the car on top of the inspection. On very rare occasions they may just crush the vehicle if it is considered "irreversible". It's worse than a DUI...

Been running no cats for about a year and a half. Got pulled over on Sunday and got cited for a few illegal mods, he didn't even ask about the exhaust. It doesn't help when you have a GoPro on your car, and you are wearing a 5 point harness.

I take it he didn't send you to a reff? It's hit or miss. It all depends how they feel that day and how you act. If your start with " I have rights....ect" which you do, just don't be telling them that. They know and they will just shove it hard up your tailpipe all because you stood up for yourself. A buddy had a nice 2006 RSX Type S. Cattless exhaust, headers, intake, a bunch of other non-performance related mods. Well over 6k into this car. Decided to stand up to some cops giving him **** for a tail light. Next thing he knows his car is impounded, sent to a reff, tickets out the *** and for what? He never got the car back btw. They wanted over 2k to bring it out of impound oh they also falsely wrote him up for street racing. 3pm in traffic...ya that makes sense...

Just be very careful. Get an escort radar detector and don't have a loud obnoxious exhaust. I ran a hack job boosted Hyundai for 4 years. Got pulled over twice and everytime played it cool. "Yes sir", "sorry sir" the whole nine. Never had my hood poped once. I also wouldn't drive around major streets, and never drove super late. In San Diego the freeway is your friend. Less chance of getting pulled over unless your tagged for speeding. That's all CHP cares about. It's the street cops uou gotta watch for. Those ******** are bored as **** and will pick you off for anything.

This is one reason I literally roll my eyes every time I see someone asking about "how can I make my car teh loudest evar!!111one!11eleven!!" Better question is, "how can I have a high flowing, quality exhaust that won't wake up the neighborhood or piss off the cops?". Also, in my experience its usually the loudest street cars that are the slower ones. ALSO, from having worked night shift for many years, a lot of ppl aren't aware of how ****ty it is when some ******* with an ear splitting exhaust rolls through the neighborhood at 2PM which is right in the middle of the "night" for those who do shift work.

And besides that, yes if you have an OR exhaust and HIDs and some other crap on your car that might not exactly be DOT approved... might not want to give the cops an easy kill to pull you over. The Mustang I owned the longest was a 95 Cobra (the one in my avatar). That car had an OR pipe for 7 years and I never had any issues because I selected a muffler that was only real loud at higher RPMs (Dynomax Ultraflow). If I ever saw a cop, clutch went in and I coasted or I would just keep it under 2500 RPM.

Do you still question the Ecoboost?

^^^

I have Roush which can be retarded loud even under moderately heavy throttle. I know when I leave at 5am it's sub 2k RPM and minimal throttle till I'm out of the neighborhood. Even my normal day to day driving is sub 2500 for 98% of my commute.

You have to have respect and know when it's ok to be loud. Not just being loud for the sake of being loud.
