Thinking of trading up

Guys dealer is offering me a very good deal to trade in my 2013 Race Red V6 for a new 2015, I am still not 100% sold on the new body style but it is starting to grow on me. My question should info for a base v6 or the Eco Boost

Thinking of trading up

I traded in my 14 v6 base manual for 15 v6 base manual. Difference night and day. Even thou I had my 14 for 11 months it just can't compare to 15 model. Handling, suspension and overall interior upgrades is so much better in 15 mustang. I got $16.5k for my 2014 trade in. I bought it new for $17.2k and on the day of trade i had 17k miles on it already. Dealer sold me base 15 v6 for $22k.

Ecoboost or v6 is personal preference. I just don't see myself driving 4cyl mustang (personal opinion) BUT ecoboost will have much more aftermarket support if you going to mod/race your car. The only 4cyl turbo car I would buy for my self is Evo or STI.

If your going to keep the car stock or light bolt ons and are happy with stock like power levels and don't want a premium package go for the v6

If you either want the premium package or more HP then I would go with the Eco boost. With light bolt ons and a boost controller you can be making 300-350 hp at the wheels easily. It's easier to get HP out of a car that comes factory with forced induction. Sure you can add a turbo to eg v6 but it will be alot more costly
