Lowering springs

So I have a v6 mustang and I had gotten an American Muscle gift certificate for Christmas and I really wanted to use it for some Eibach Sportlines (1.5" drop front 1.3" drop in back) but AM doesn't carry it for the V6's:/ would you guys recommend buying the GT Sportlines for my V6? Thanks!

I would consider the Vogtland springs, but there are choices. The problem with using GT springs is with the front end weight difference.

Steeda also has some great choices on the AM website ... we have had a tremendous amount of positive feedback on our springs!

I'm really looking for more than a 1" drop. Preferably 1.5" or 1.3", do y'all offer that on AM?

Our springs don't go much further that 1.25" drop in the front - the Ultra Lite Linear & Sports Progressive both have the 1.25" in the front & 1" in the back.

We have found this to be the ideal drop from our research & development.

Best Regards,

TJ

Hey Brad - Good question here and to cut right to the chase I would strong suggest not picking up a set that are advertised for the GT as they have different rates! TJ's absolutely right and their Sport Progressive Springs
are exactly what I would shoot for if I were in a brand new V6.

We ironically just had them added on site too -

Drop either of us a line if you have any other questions.

I've got a 1.5 1.3 drop. I think it's perfect. if this drop isn't good enough then you need to go with bags.

I run the GT springs from AM on my v6. Have for years and it drives the same as how my GT did when i had one. Only difference is I can see and feel is the front isn't fully dropped but it's only noticeable to me because i saw the same brand on my GT. Nobody else would notice

One thing I'm sure most ppl are aware of, but surprisingly I haven't seen any mention of, is the fact the the '15's are already 1.4" lower than the previous models.
So I assume they already have shorter, stiffer springs. Is that true?

On the other hand , I've seen references to the 2015 stock rear ends being bouncy. Maybe due to the IRS??
