Ecoboost vs Coyote at altitude

Ok. I am not talking sea level. No comparison. Let's talk Colorado where you are 5000-7000 ft above sea level. The Coyote will be starving. How will the ecoboost compare up there? I know my 95 gt is a dog out there and doesnt stand a chance against even small turbos. I wager the two will be neck and neck up there. Anyone know for sure?

It's all about altitude density and depending on the conditions (temp, humidity, barometric pressure) it is theoretically possible that it could be neck and neck with a Coyote. That said, I wouldn't bet on it.

Oh i never said beat. I said keep up. There is a huge advantage in power but at high altitude that advantage diminishes quickly and the booster is lighter. I will probably still buy the GT i have on order but that thought crept into my head the other day. This car will be a daily driver. I want to make a racer I will use the 70. It starts out with an 800lb weight advantage over a new mustang

The turbo could compensate for the altitude, but I think you would need to increase the boost, which is possible.
