Anything made past July 2016, has the $500 increase on it.

Ford must be reading these forums... with all you bragging about how it was a bargain back when it was $1995, so they went up to $2,495. Still bragging its a bargain... well now its $2,995. Not so much of a bargain anymore!
Yes glad I got mine when I did for $1995.00. Maybe we should start bragging about the Audio Systems now.

Super glad I didn't buy the PP and waste $1,995. I got beautiful MMD wheels which are not even in the same looking league as the PP wheels. Installed 3:73 gears.

Most people think it is a bargain since if you had to pay for 19 rims, 255 tires alone. Plus are the rest of the suspension upgrades. I don't mine the rims at all. I am not at the track so 3:31 gears are a nice upgrade over the 2:73 gears. Great bargain, it pulled a better G than the GT did.

Great deal if you like the wheels and happy with the 3:31 gears. I never liked the PP wheels and never wanted just 3:31 gears.

When you get older you don't worry so much about wheels, spoilers, stereos. Just live with what you got. I grew up in the muscle car era and did that already. Driveshaft though is a must upgrade.

The Ecoboost PP is still $1,995. (like the V6 PP was)

Its just the GT PP that they jacked up!

Its not a mistake if your fine without it having the 5.0. I have an s550 v6 as well, black w/ 6 spd.

The base interior is actually really nice and the best thing about this car is that its raw to the bone, theres no interior nifties that everyone wants nowadays. Im only 30 but none of my cars from the past had a big screen, heated/cooled seats, and all that crap and i prefer it that way because this is a mustang and not a bentley.

As far as the power, i really dont understand why people hate on the v6, it has great power and good sound. Maybe the old 4.0 v6s sucked but the 3.7 is a damn good v6 engine. But i truly believe that the 2017 mustangs will be the last to have the v6. Not much people are buying them.

I was in a quandary as to trading up to a 16 GT, the dealer paid off my modded 2014 3.7 and I got 0% for 72 months plus 3.55:1 gear, I had to trade as I was upside down on my 3.7, you'll be fine, driveshaft will help you a lot.

Wait...so was your 3.7 already paid off or did you still owe on it?
Im looking to trade up for a GT in the near future but as of right now i am in negative equity.

Sounds like the dealer gave him what he owed on it. But you have to be really careful because sometimes they will give you more on your trade but give less incentives on the car so you pay closer to sticker. Essentially just shifting money around on paper. A few dealerships around me are offering 4-6 k off the remaining 2016 GTs so there are deals out there on the 16s since the 17s are already out.
