I ordered the Cobb accessport tuner for my 17 ecoboost. Anybody use it with feedback? A little nervous messing up my brand new car but would love the benefits that comes with it.
Assuming you have no other mods and you are using a Cobb Off the Shelf Stage 1 tune you will see about a 30 HP and 80 ft-lbs peak increases. This is about what you will get for stage 1 from anyone.
If you get the mod bug probably should work with a tuner that can customize a tune for your mods. Tune+ is the go to guy if you have an Accessport.
I had the Cobb Tune and did Stage 1 with a CAI and 93 octane and it worked great. If you want to see how good it is, drive around a while with the tune. Then put it back to stock and drive it again and you'll feel how slow the car feels without the tune. You don't know how good the tune is until you get used to it and then have to drive without it. Then you'll see how crappy the car rides without the tune. It's like they say, "You don't know what you got until you lose it."
It's very responsive with the Ecoboost. I had lots of nice low-end torque. I could pass people easily in 4th or 5th gear without having to downshift a lot. I would definitely recommend this purchase. It was one of the very first items I bought after buying my Mustang.
